Honestly I don't know what they're complaining about. This whole situation is Arsene Wenger's fault not Sanchez's. He indicated that he wanted to leave and has always maintained that he would not sign a new contract when this one ran out, but they refused to sell him and instead chose to force him to see out his contract against his wishes so what did they expect to happen? Wenger has cut his nose off to spite his face and is now having to live with the rather obvious and predictable consequences.

He basically won them the game yesterday so not sure how they can call him out after that and claim he's not putting a shift in.

Even while sulking he's still contributing more to the team than half of them are for fuck sake

You can blame Wenger for letting his contract run down and allowing him to misbehave and not show respect to his team mates but Sanchez is a professional who should be putting his head down and not showing sign of frustrations, he's been acting like a prick for about a year which can't be giving his team mates much confidence. Ozil is in a similar situation and you son't see him acting like that.

To be honest I don't think Sanchez has been acting like a prick. Most of the public displays of frustration etc. have been exactly that, frustration, and usually it's at the lack of determination/competitiveness from his teammates, which also seems to be one of the main reasons he wanted to leave in the first place.

They're just not a team of winners and he is. The classic example for me was last year against Bournemouth when they scored 3 goals in the last 15 mins to come back from 3-0 down. When Giroud scored the equaliser he starting dancing around like a twat with his stupid scorpion celebration thing like he'd just won the World Cup, meanwhile Sanchez is yelling at them all because he wants them to get back to the centre circle so that they can try and get a winner because he, quite rightly, doesn't see scraping a draw at Bournemouth by the skin of your teeth to be anything to celebrate. To me, that's not acting like a twat. Like I say, his frustration seems to be more at how pathetic most of his teammates are than him trying to force a move - after all, he doesn't need to force anything because his contract is about to expire.

Like I say, even given his current situation, when I've watched them he still seems to give more to the team than a lot of them do.

Pearls of wisdom...

Alexis Sánchez’s free-kick – deflected into the net by James McClean – had put Arsenal ahead and Wenger was in no mood to discuss the prospect of the forward moving to Manchester City. “We play on Wednesday night,” Wenger replied, when asked whether Sánchez may have played his last game for Arsenal. “I have spoken many times about that and I am not ready to talk about it any more.”

I would rather him leave in the Summer on a free, same as Ozil, I don’t think they’re getting top 4 regardless. They really are in an awful position as a club.

If Sanchez leaves in January, Arsenal might finish below Burnley
They really are in a world of trouble £150m just to stand still. That’s not even including replacing the likes of mertesacker and cazorla and possibly Wilshere. Koscielny looks done cech is 36. Giroud 33 and likely on his way.Walcott looks over ,welbeck and Ramsey will have a year left this summer. Absolute shambles.

I know the press are always on about Sanchez and Ozil's contracts but they never really talk about what a mess that club are actually in, imagine this place if we were in their position. People are soiling themselves over one of our players because he only has 2 1/2 years on his contract, no one would even bat an eyelid at that a few years ago. This is Arsenal's best chance to finish above us for a good few years with us at Wembley and them still having Ozil and Sanchez. If we finish above them this year then they stay there for the foreseeable I reckon..
