If football has taught me anything it's NEVER underestimate Arsenal. Whenever their demise is predicted they manage to somehow turn it around and go on a run.

I would not be at all surprised to see them right in the mix for top 4 come the end of the season.

They have a big stadium, and very big revenues. They'd spend big if Wenger left.

All they are lacking is organisation. Look how quickly Conte turned things around at Chelsea when there was no European football.

They don’t really have European football now, the teams they have been playing in the UEFA cup have been youth and 2nd/3rd string

They need to spend at least 200m to recoup what they'll lose with Sanchez and whoever else leaves, and then they'd need to improve to get back in top 4

I'm ultra cautious like you but this season seems just that bit different all round.

An implosion ?

Conte inherited a squad that had won the league 12 months before.

Not this time. Their squad is bang average.

If rumors are to believed Malcom and Aubameyang in January is pretty good going, even with Sanchez leaving I wouldn't write them off yet. And if they do sign Aubameyang that should put to bed any speculation(guessing in the ITK thread) that we might be signing Pulisic in Jan.

Anyone actually believing we even might sign Pulisic this window is setting themselves up for disappointment imo.

I think that would depend on their squad list when the current window closes.
