Milan 24 points off Juve. Different worlds. Only worrying thing is the goons have plenty of CL experience to fall back on against Europa teams

"19 years of CL failure for Wenger who has never won a European Trophy unless you count the pretty little tournaments every pre-season at the Emirates"

If Oestersunds can beat them, so can any other club left in the comp. they still have several more obstacles before they can even think about getting into the final.

Napoli went out in the last round and Dortmund have lost at home tonight as well.

Getting fewer and fewer good teams left in this competition, really getting nervous about them now. Would be so typical of them to sneak back into the CL after the disaster of a season they've had.

It doesn’t take a good team to beat them though.

As gooner fan i would be more worried about lower opponents, because against the big sides, their players often seem to raise their game.
And the only team that's really a level above and left in the competition is Atletico - but they haven't had the best season so far too, even tough they are 2nd

Arsene Wenger has claimed there are 30 million Arsenal fans hurting right now.

30 million?? Where do football clubs get these figures from? Their own Twitter account has less than half that many followers and I always thought that was the (flawed) means by which football clubs boasted these ridiculous fan base numbers.

I've got a few Gooner friends at work. Nice to see them less miserable this morning. And before I get loads of disagrees, they are still human beings, and football is just a game. So there.

That probably is where they've got the figure from, but we've got close to 10m on Facebook, and I don't believe for one second we have 10m fans worldwide. Man City's FB page has 31m - there is absolutely no way they have 31m fans. As has been said on other threads these social media pages are often 'liked' and 'followed' by people of follow multiple football teams pages as a means of seeing news content as they are based overseas. I'd argue that of the 37m who have liked Arsenal's page, about 50% have also liked Man City's, and Man Utd's, and Barcelona's etc etc.
