Feel sick at all these nicey nicey posts about Wenger. The man shat on us as a club for 15 years and doubt he gave a fuck when he celebrated winning the league on our pitch

Fuck him

I wonder if he senses the shift in power in North London now...

Have a lot of respect for Wenger & his belief in how the game should be played.. his downfall was been to stubborn, not moving with the times & been to loyal to players underperforming players..players had it to easy..just to soft on them

It will be interesting who next manager is.. might stick few quid on Jardim & Enrique

It's clear that this is the result of a "step aside or get pushed" ultimatum. I can see this pushing them on to a Europa win. Shame.

I wonder how TY from Arse TV is getting on this morning. Suicide watch?

Wasn't it part of his job to shit on their biggest rivals?

At the end of the day people are simply acknowledging that he did a good job for them for many years. I don't see that as "nicey nicey". If anything it's recognising that the massive upturn that Arsenal fans are expecting from Wenger going isn't assured, especially if they end up with someone like Viera.

I'd hate to seem them appoint a manager like Howe, Rafa or Dyche. Irrespective of how good they might be, they are all far too likeable.

For me there are only three contenders for the job - Nigel Pearson, Sol Campbell and Kim Jong-un. I doubt they'll go for an Englishman, and Kim could easily be tempted to leave his current position for the bright lights of London so that's where my tenner is going. Great odds too (y).

Hated the prick but fair play to Wenger and a pat on the back. Going a season unbeaten, going toe to toe with United off and on, winning g several titles and even winning a few cups last few seasons when we are crying out for a domestic one.

I'm still nervous who they will get in. I'm dreading someone like Simeone who may transform that south London club

Fuck that. Never. Wenger could have been there a thousand years, what do I give a fuck? 'want' them to win it? Is he fucking insane?

No wonder someone replied 'stop being a ****' to that.

Dont worry 2018/19 is coming, we'll be back at the lane, and we can put any Arsenal fans sense of hope back in its box.
I'm going to enjoy that day, maybe i should come with earplugs for the arsenal fans so they can see a real 60,000 crowd, and hear the roar booming down the pitch toward them :) Yup as soon as the fixtures are out i'm telling the boss (me) i'm on holiday that day.

Why should he? We’d do the same if we won the league at their ground. That’s part of the fun.

I’m going to back my ‘lightning striking twice’ theory and have a few quid on Eddie Howe @ 16/1 on the basis that they’ll try to appoint someone 'younger' with a view to him building it on and staying for donkeys years. It just wouldn't surprise me if they genuinely thought they could get two managers to stay for ages on the spin.

Or Nagelsmann.

Fuck Wenger by the way. He was an absolute **** when they were winning and doing well, he was a terrible loser who let his players be thugs. Now we are better than them people have gone soft on him.

Listening to Arsenal fans glowing with a renewed sense of hope is totally demoralising.
What if that hope is misguided?

It'll only take a bad run under the new manager for the dissenting voices to start and demand that the board be sacked.
