Conversation with an Arse Fan

Him - The NLD is more important to Tottenham than to Arsenal.
Me - No the biggest game in london is Tottenham Vs Chelsea, and fair play it is a big game the NLD to us because we want to want to win the London mini league.

Him - JV turned down Arsenal because he didn't want to be a sub.
Me- You played Mertesacker and Gabriel at CB. I would turn you down too if you think I'm playing second fiddle to that lot.

Him - Kane does nothing but score goals he does nothing else.
Me - Not true but even it was its kind of the point he is a striker and the best striker in the league

Him - Wants Maguire and Van Dijk to be Arsenals CB pairing
Me - LOL

Him - Levy is better at selling than he is playing
Me - Cdnt be bothered with this one as you could have umpteen conversation with Spurs fans about Levy,
No shit, hes a 56 year old, midget, businessman who has never played professional football :ROFLMAO:

I wish Ozil had played last weekend. There is no way Woolwich would have had the same energy with him on the pitch.

Personally think he's finished with them to be honest. He'll end up in China or the MLS shortly

Never understood why they gave him that huge new contract when they were getting rid of the deadwood within the squad.

I'm starting to realise that this current Arsenal side is probably one of the most annoying ones they've had for a while. And most of their squads have been an annoying. I don't think the culture at that club will ever change. Snide, irritating, childish, thick-headed, ****s. Bell Ends FC.

I think my hate for them is starting to return lol

Why would he go with the contract he has?

Agreed, for a while they didn't have that many truly detestable players other than Wilshere, combined with the fact that the fans knew they were rubbish and got somewhat back in their box for a few years.

Now they've got a whole new generation of utter bellends (Bellerin, Aubameyang etc) and they've won one game and have started giving it the big 'un. Wankers.

In that Guendouzi they seem to have the ideal heir apparent to Jack Wheelchair, but annoyingly seems to be a lot better player.
What is it about this club that seems to produce snidey little turds in abundance

Never understood why they gave him that huge new contract when they were getting rid of the deadwood within the squad.

They knew they'd ballsed up by letting Sanchez's contract run down so in a desperate attempt to save face they caved into his ridiculous demands so they didn't have the "humiliation" of losing both of them. Trouble is, given how useless he is most of the time, I think most of us see it as even more humiliating that they're stuck with him on a massive contract now.

I suppose it depends on whether he has the drive to actually play football or just sit on his arse

He wouldn't even get half what he's being paid at any other club though. It's all very well taking e.g. a 20% pay cut to play regularly, but it takes a special kind of person to give up over 50% of their last big contract to go an play e.g. in Turkey or something. He's probably laughing all the way to the bank to be honest. They should never have given him the money and just let him leave for free. He wouldn't have got even close to this kind of money anywhere else because none of the clubs that could afford that would want anything to do with him. He played Arsenal like a fiddle.
