ICC: AS Roma 1-4 Spurs

Fernando Llorente and Lucas Moura scored two goals each in a fine first half performance to put AS Roma to the sword in our opening International Champions Cup (ICC) match in San Diego.

Very confident going forward and strong at the back. The game shifted slightly when their first guard came on, but our youngsters were more than competent at holding their ground. Lucas moura is an absolute beast

Nice to see Llorente getting some service and making the most of it, Lucas looking hungry and dangerous and Aurier slinging in a wonderful cross for Lucas to nod in. Looking good all things considered.

Anyone remember a pre season not that long ago where we spanked Roma 5.0 and swept all before us? Season started we had just 2 pts from 8 games and Redknapp was brought in.
These games mean absolutely fk all results wise. Players getting match fit and sharp. Thats it. Read no more into it.

Pleased we won rather than lost but we must remember this game is meaningless. Sorry to anyone who's getting their hopes up and don't want to burst anyone's bubble. A dose of realism now spares pain later.
