At least you admit that it is usually what I do, therefore the results (a plural which means it occurs multiple times) of "my monumental stupidity", as you see it, are not a fluke and therefore you contradict yourself. You can't call it "fluke" when it's not and vice versa, as it can't be both.

Put the crack pipe down, and step away from the keyboard.

You sometimes manage to write a sentence, but its content is usually bullshit of the highest order.

The great thing about him is that he's always around as an option. You never see him marked. He sets the tempo, he see's things that others dont. That pass for hutton came from nowhere, I certianlly didn't see that ball wide available.

There is a reason why he's held in such high regard by pundits and managers alike... Because he is a fantastic player. I honestly don't know why some posters (I wont mention names) cant see it.

The way he retains possesion and sets the tempo of our attacking movements is nothing short of brilliance.

I saw it - as a straight pass for Hutton, not as a team splitting incision of genius to where he played it...and as it left his foot and I followed the trajectory I began to extrapolate what he had seen all along. And that is why he is a footballing leg-end in the making.

Well said most of you :) He's the creative brain in our team (Bale must be one of the lungs...)

With a pretty efficient little (elven monkey) brain of his own:grin:

Some posters, who I am really glad to still have on ingore are so FCUKing blind that they seem to have missed that Modders plays incisive passes of multivarious lengths down either flank and through the middle in most every match he plays - first long pass of note:bs::stupid::duh:

I am amazed we have people finding fault in Luka or in fact having any negativity right now in what is probably our best team in tha past 25 years!! That pass from Luca was sublime yesterday, as was the fantastic movement for the second... I for one am simply gonna enjoy this as much as possible cause we may not be title condendors in some peoples eyes but we are playing like we should be!!

The through ball to VdV against Inter? Not as flamboyant but equally as effective - Modric is class regardless of what some people say.

That was no fluke yesterday.

BorisTM is a masterful WUM of the highest order. That is the only logical explanation for his use of the word "fluke" in relation to Modric's superb pass. Where on earth was Modric aiming his pass when he "fluked" it to Hutton? What was his original intention?

Almost as bizarre as Jamesc0le's team suggestions.

Modric finally, after so many games, discovered the powerful magic of the long through ball in space, something he has been expected to do for a while now - being our play-maker, the ONE that makes us tick, etc. - but has always managed to fail with.

A long through ball. Was the pass intended or was it a fluke, I wonder? Hmmm. We shall see in the games to follow.

Serious question and not a rude one:

Are you a serb?

Luka runs our midfield always around to accept the ball even in tight situations, and rarely gets knocked off the ball, gives and goes or speads the play he can do it all. Who is the right foil for him in centre mis?
Hud who also can take control of the ball and move it on quicly long or short, or Wilson who gets in the face of the opposition and helps slow them down or retrieve the ball, but cant distribute as well and doesnt have the goal threat of Hud.
Do we need a Diara who gets about thr pitch closes players down and can distribute all be it not in Hud's class.
We have excellent players but just short of the right partner for Luka, having said that does it matter as they both do a goiod Job, as does Jenas most of the time.

Some of his close control is fantastic. Love the football he plays with bale and vdv.

He would do even better if relieved of too much responsibility to cover in midfield. We don't need to play with two out and out wingers or atackers, especially when none of them, regardless of respective individual quality, is not really intelligent or versatile (Lennon, Bale, Pav, Defoe).

We really should try to play with Palacios + one of Hudd/Jenas behind Luka, to let him work his magic along with the likes od Bale, VdV and mystery CF. He will always do his "working" shift (running, fighting and intercepting) and that would be some vicious midfield. We would be more unpredictable upfront and definitely less exposed defensively.

Read it again. I said it's a fluke that the letters you type make actual sentences. The "usually" refers to the quotient of bullshit in said sentences. If you are going to try and be clever with your counter arguements I suggest you read through what it is you are referring to carefully.

I think the only possible criticism of luka is he doesn't get enough goals. Other than that he's a bit good.

Assists don't really mean anything other than points in Fantasy Football.
I don't mean to rag on Crouchie but this season he's got assists when the ball has bounced off his groin/back after brilliant work from Bale. If you believed in assists as a true yardstick you'd be well Gibbsy.

Not only assisting the assist. He can defend and tackle as well as anyone in the team. Not the Palacious kind of tackle but rather sticking his foot out and just disposses the other player.

Alot of people were saying he is too small to play in centre midfield. He's definitely proved them wrong. Fantastic player.

I'd like to echo these sentiments.

He's not just attacking, but very adequate in defence.
Whilst Wilson was charging about (sometimes losing his man) Modric was charging around the centre of the park, chasing almost all causes (for at least 80 mins) He was my MOTM yesterday.
Cant imagine a midfield without him in it.
