We were lucky to win. Our defence let us down yet again.

More like they were lucky we didn't score sooner.

Still think that our defence is very weak and we won't succeed this season to progress. The only striker we can rely on is Harry Kane and MP has not given the lad a chance to start a game in the premiership.

We need to stop talking about top four this season. Getting the squad in shape and playing to Poch's game (and shifting out those who don't adapt) is a much bigger priority. This process will undoubtedly take a full season.

This system is absolute turd for us because we don't have an oustanding player / suitable style of player in the positions required. We need a lone striker who is capable of hold-up and finishing. Uncheck (bar Kane - not fair to put all that on him). An inside forward who can score at will and tear teams apart. Uncheck. Full-backs who are rapid, great goinfg forward and in defence. Uncheck. A CB who is commanding, quick, and decisive. Uncheck. A CM who can knit defence into attack and make the right decisions and execute passes with bravery. Uncheck

As far as i'm concerned right now we're just going to bubble along and get by due to individual quality, not team play. Hopefully squirm 7th place and then buy some suitable players. Worrying thing is Poch has had one window and already lumbered himself with the unsuitable Davies and maybe Fazio...
