Just saw they spent around £140m this summer on transfers and sold £3m.
I know they have newish backers but could they be in financial difficulties again?

They were banned for 2 years from Europe for an FFP breach.
Birmingham had a transfer ban then got punished for signing one player, on loan I think.
The constant snipes at our board when it makes no sense is getting very tiresome.
City’s ban has been expunged.
Anyway, the FFP rules have been very relaxed as a result of the pandemic. Sawiris and Edens saved Villa 2 years ago and i’m sure they’ll do it again if need be. Many owners will likely be pumping money into their clubs. Ours will not.
