Should imagine someone will take it over and sort the mess out.
There's alot of potential as long as they don't drop any further down

Was he that bad for them last season then?

I thought he did okay but wasn’t paying massive attention.
I tried not to watch much but from what I did see he was terrible. Pardon the pun. That said, I was biased for wanting him to fail at everything.

I imagine the owner will bail them out.
He cant make the payment. There were massive questions over his financing when he took over and they were still in the Premier League. The authorities fucked up massively approving the sale to him. Feel for the fans but the only people to blame here is the football authorities.

The Mirror says they've been relying on small £5m payments from Xia every month to pay the bills. That didnt come in May and Burnley paid them the rest of the Ashley Westwood payment before they actually owed it to Villa in order for Villa to pay the staff.

Grealish is not even good enough for WBA. I can't believe we are trying to sign him.
Even if they he plays in a different position, I'd rather use Onomah as we already have him and don't need to waste millions to buy him like Grealish.

Please come join the fight in the transfer thread! We are arming up against purchasing Grealish.

I can't. I've been banned from that section since january for absolutely no reason.
None of my last posts there had something wrong, and A&C doesn't seem to want to give me an explanation
That's why posted here. I had to vent somewhere after reading we were signing grealish

https://www.telegraph.co.uk/football/2018/06/09/aston-villa-face-turmoil-prospect-another-45m-bill/

telegraph suggest Villa could be hit with another bill this month and that Villa will need to find another £4.5 million to pay the bill which will comprisre of tax and wages.

Goes on to say that Villa are looking to reduce wage bill by 1/3 from £45 million to £30 million in order to not fall foul of FFP.

Next seasons budget and their summer plans are to be discussed in a meeting scheduled for Monday.

We may well hear something a bit more concrete regarding Grealish after their meeting one way or another I'm thinking.
