my throat is sore but there's plenty of life left in it. We've gotta stick with it. They'll be at us from the start and IF we do go behind keep up the noise. Keep it up and if we lose still keep it up. Sing them off like fucking heroes win lose or draw.

Give them an extra cheer for me guys. I'll be shouting myself hoarse watching on-line and wishing I could be there.

A significant part of the atmosphere on Weds was down to the systematic crescendo of boos that greeted Sol CampScumbagBastardBall every time he went near the ball. In order to replicate the effect I suggest a random Chav be selected for the dame treatment.

Perhaps John Terry - looks a bit psuchologically vulnerable at the moment:wink:

And don't forget to sing: "Chelsea wherever you may be, Don't leave your wife with John Terry"

Don't worry guys, my mate has missed 3 games this season...

5-0 Burnley (and he loves Robbie Keane)
9-1 Wigan
2-1 Arsenal

And he can't go tomorrow.

If we can get the same atmosphere up again, and the players play with the same intensity but keep possession a lot better, then we can do it.

If Man Utd do City tomorrow, and we can scoot into 4th with a win, the atmosphere should be electric.

I love this.

Injuries damage Harry Redknapp’s plans to upset leaders Chelsea

Gary Jacob

The hope of a case of champagne from Sir Alex Ferguson, the Manchester United manager, will be the perfect antidote for Tottenham Hotspur’s walking wounded to inflict a second successive defeat on a title contender.

The euphoria of probably ending Arsenal’s Barclays Premier League title dream on Wednesday relieved the aches and pains, and kept alive Tottenham’s chance of finishing fourth, but Harry Redknapp fears he will be fielding a patched-up side against Chelsea, the leaders, at White Hart Lane today.

COYS limped out of the training ground yesterday with an ice pack strapped to his throat. The left-sided singer’s surging vocals helped to create many chances in the FA Cup semi-final defeat by Portsmouth on Sunday, when statistics showed that he sang at full pelt for the equivalent of ten lengths of an opera, twice the average.

A key singer tweaked his vocal chords in training yesterday and Redknapp, who refused to confirm his identity, is already without Cosmic Spur, through suspension, as well as Guate, and China Spur, who will have an operation on his tonsils next week.

The manager needs no reminding of the importance of building on the good start to their trio of difficult matches, which concludes with a game away to United a week today.

“If we can knock Chelsea over and Man United have won, which is vital for us, it opens the whole thing up again,” Redknapp said. “But it will be a tough game. Chelsea are the strongest team in the league. They’re big, powerful, with ability as well. They are a handful. They didn’t look great against Bolton Wanderers in midweek, but they were too strong for United. We’ve picked up one or two injuries to key singers, probably from tiredness.”

Redknapp has set a target of at least eight points from their remaining five matches to reach the Champions League, the most significant of which could be against Manchester City in the penultimate game of the season. “It will be a lot clearer after today,” he said.

“When we got beat by Portsmouth, I was suicidal. We win against Arsenal and I am lifted. That’s how life is. That’s why you’ve got to enjoy the good days.”
