Do we have the second biggest domestic following in the PL? Or are "tourists"making up the numbers? I'm amazed we are keeping the attendances so high.

I’ve managed to get to 4games this season when I normally get to see 1. It’s just easier to get tickets. I imagine it’s similar for many other fans who aren’t season ticket holders.

I can't get over this season cause of a few reasons, mainly my wife wanting an instagram house. Hopefully next season il get my usual couple.

Yeah, it's definitely a lot easier to get tickets - have gone to Chelsea, Liverpool, United and Arsenal games (as well as Swansea and Burnley), where I've usually only been able to get tickets for smaller games at WHL.

I have heard a lot of people who I assume have come from abroad to visit the games.. .but then I heard the same on the last few times I went to WHL. If you're visiting London and you want to see a big Prem team, we're probably the easiest option at the moment.

At the Liverpool game there seemed to be a lot of Spurs fans bringing their plastic scouse mates (no criticism - I offered the same to my plastic scouser, but he chickened out) - may have been the same for other games.

I think another factor is the number of kids who are now supporting Spurs thanks to the Bale/modric era and now Kane/Alli.
My lad plays youth football and there's close to a third of all the kids turning up in Spurs gear now (although we are within an hour of North London) compared to just a handful in the past.
In a couple of games where I've sat in the top tier this season they've been packed out with families.
We really are the team of choice for kids in this country and I think that has had a massive effect on attendances.

There seemed to be a block on the top tier over by the Gooners where the first two rows were empty....

Even allowing for that, can't work out where the extra 6000 sits..
There was a block behind the big screen at the home end. I was surprised there were so many empty seats

I know the curse has been well and truly buried long before yesterday but what is starting to get me excited is the fact that we are turning over our rivals at Wembley and in front of massive attendances. This can only bode well for future cup finals or big away European games. The Wembley season may give us a boost for many years to come.

Hopefully we go all the way to the FA Cup final and win it after all these yrs.

Around 10 guys infront of us missed the Kane goal as they were finishing their HT beer.

Can’t understand the desperate need for a HT beer when you have to neck it in order to be out in time for the 2nd half. Same lot missed the opening goal against Utd last week too :banghead:

Also, suspect our new stadium is going to be more like Wembley than it will be like WHL, so hopefully we can transfer it across and start feeling at home a bit quicker than happens to most teams.

It's withdrawal, when you've been on the lash for a couple of hours, then go an hour without a beer, your body craves more alcohol.

I think there’s so many things about us that currently makes us attractive to say a new person following PL from abroad. Young superstar players, style of play, Poch , the fact we are growing organically and not plastic oil money. Also might sound crazy but when I was in the states I meet some new spurs fans. When I asked them why they chose spurs they said the name was cool lol . But I think if Kane carries on this form and stays with us it’s huge for our profile. To have a player in the messi Ronaldo bracket is just massive profile wise.

For a 12:30 ko? That’s hardcore
The fellas I used to meet up with would, for a 12:30 kickoff, get to Wetherspoons at 8AM for a fry up, then start drinking at 9 when they start serving booze, this was after having a couple of cans of cider on the train on the way down!!

This was the norm for a cup final/semi as well...3PM kickoff.
