You're lucky. I've been trying to buy one for months and because of the new WLTP testing, have to wait until my exact model has been tested.......the build start week at the moment is the last week of January!!! So end of March is the earliest I'm likely to get it. Not happy at all.

He must`ve fancied me then.
Me, "when can i have it"?
Him, "fiery me old mate you can have it 1st sept and no mistake".
He looks a bit like Dick Van Dyke so that`s the way i heard it.

Audi? Dammit... hate Audi Drivers.

To clarify, it is possible to drive an Audi and not be an Audi Driver, just as it is possible to not be driving an Audi but still be an Audi Driver, but when the two phenomena align, it's horrible.

Hey, Audi Drivers, stop driving like wankers, please. I guarantee you'd be far more upset with damage to your motor than I would at any damage to mine, so why even put yourself in that situation?

So you're saying you're fully aware that there are wankers in every car, but you only hate them when they're in Audi's...

And yet it's us German car drivers that are the ones with the problem.... ok

Been lucky enough to own a few Audi's. Have to say, I think it's the best brand of car I've owned.

Had a BMW, soon paid extra and went and got my Audi back after part exchanging. Currently drive a Golf.

German build quality is usually very good.

I love my BMW's
I have no issue with any German Brands, they're all good cars. I just prefer RWD which rules most Audi's out. Merc's that aren't AMG's all seem like they're for 50 year olds and I have a few more years before I need that. (n)

Yep. I'm going by majority here - if I see someone driving like a pleb, there's a reasonably high chance it's going to be in an Audi. I'm not saying this to just bitch at Audi drivers, it's an observable fact.

Just checked the office - shouted out who are the most inconsiderate or worst drivers, all but one shouted Audi. The other shouted Nike SQ5900, which is apparently a golf joke that I don't get and he didn't hear me properly, so we can strike his opinion off the list.

Don't worry though, it's cyclical - this time ten years ago it was BMW drivers, in between there's been a bit of a Merc fetish (Sprinter vans are designed to allow a driver to be a wanker but with the horsepower to back it up), but currently it's Audi drivers by some stretch.

Probably about as long a stretch as a par 5? Is that a good golf joke? I don't care...

I'm a stickler for this issue. I've owned 2 BMW's back to back since 2010
I do nothing I'm regularly accused of, and everything a good and considerate drive should do. But I still take comments like this. I also drive without any prejudice - a **** is a **** when it comes to driving and believe me, I see more in non German cars than in them.
Just yesterday some pleb in a Vauxhall people carrier decided to turn right, across the front of me, at a round about - you guessed - no indicators. And then, having made me brake on the round about, decides to give me the angry hand signals like I'd done something wrong. I usual mumble the same words to myself "yeah, apparently only we're ****s when we don't indicate"
Try it - watch how many non BMW/Audi/Mercedes cars do shit like that.
you'll be amazed.

**not saying there aren't ****s in BMW's - there are.

total rubbish, and I'm not an Audi driver. Usually find the ones making these absurd rubbish up are the ones that have problems driving

Misses works for Audi and this WLTP thing is a real pain. Most countries are getting a longer period to sort it out but our good old government decided they wanted it done like in an instant.

I disagree.

Seems we're at a stalemate... Can I cash in the three "Winner" ratings for my op? What's the exchange rate for this sort of business?

I used to drive for a job, was on the road 12 - 18 hours a day, and I will say without a seconds hesitation that Audi's are more regularly driven badly, often dangerously, than any other make of car.

The car you've chosen must have been tested already.

Honda FR-V is the car with most insurance claims to it’s name. Therefore all Honda drivers are wankers!

Round my gaff it's any 4x4... Some strange inverse correlation between the narrower the street, the larger the car.

The intriguing thing was that I spent a week in the dales, and the only 4x4 I saw was a farmer's beat up defender. I genuinely only see large numbers of land rovers, etc in SW London...

For the past ten years or so, Audi drivers are known to be the worst here in Toronto; particularly the young Chinese immigrants who flaunt all driving rules. Audi is big in Mainland China and a lot of the Chinese immigrants seem to have an affinity to the brand. They have now entered our lakes and flying about in their speedboats and jet skis in areas where they should not be speeding in the water.

These young rich second generation are giving Chinese immigrants a bad name wherever they go.

Brothers just bought a convertible Audi TT.
Went to pick up some fish and chips
just up the road.
Insisted on going in the car
and putting the top down.
Most embarrassing fish and chips
I've ever eaten.
Not if you'd done that in Grimsby.
