Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly keen on a new right-back as manager Mauricio Pochettino wants to replace both Kieran Trippier and Serge Aurier.

The England international has been routinely linked with a summer move to Napoli, but his Ivory Coast international counterpart isn’t keen on leaving the North London outfit yet, and is looking to bounce back stronger from his injury woes ahead of 2019-2020.

Wan-Bissaka would be my number one signing this summer. RB when everyone is fit is clearly our weakest position (arguably CM maybe).
AWB could be the leagues best RB for the next 10 seasons so even at £50-60m, £5-6m a season could be well spent. Another good CL run and this would pay off even sooner.
Sell one of KT, SA and keep the other. Not sure what to make of KWP after this season, as he hardly made the pitch late season but he def wouldn’t be first XI if AWB came in, so potentially money there too.
Would love this one to be completed first before Utd and City come calling.

He more or less said that he doesn't want to leave Palace this summer.

I want that Moroccan dude from the French league who we've been linked to.
Never seen him play, but from one youtube vid, and my keen eye for talent, i can tell he is the one.

our number one priority to sort out right back we concede too many goals from right back, of course, we need a Cm and if we lose Toby.

i do hope big vic will be back next season i do love watching him destroy people.

Wonder if we'll buy anyone new for next season
Guess Poch has to sell before buying- we're probably not even looking for prospective candidates yet

I think this is why we need to jump in first on this one.

Here's mega bucks, you'd be first choice RB for a CL team, try and turn his head.

Utd need a RB and although they could trump our wages, don't have CL, Poch or a settled team.
City I think, will look to replace Walker, this season or likely next, so we could have a one year head start on them by saying you'd be fighting for starts this year.
Pool are well set at RB and Chelsea have captain CA.

Sure, if he doesn't want to leave then let the lad stay and develop, fair play. My two penneth would be he gets that in spades with Poch and us tho.

Just don't sign the new contract there and get stuck like Zaha

Was surprised to see Ally Gold include him in a potential Spurs line up for next season...

As for Aurier, if he was the difference in having the budget to buy AWB or not I'd gladly sell him. But he was our best RB this season and wouldn't mind at all if we sent KWP on loan and had him be the back up this upcoming season. Just for the love of God no more Trippier.

I worry with both Trippier and Serge in the team.

Tripper is poor defensively and Serge is a bit rash, and every time he lunges in the box, you dread him conceding a penalty.

Now that the crossing and the assists have dropped from Trippier's game, that little advantage he had for him has now gone.

I'm not sure who I would go with for the CL final.

Aurier does seem injury prone?

If KWP is deemed ready to play in, say, 20% of matches then we could sell both Trippier and Aurier.
AWB transfer fee would be (almost) covered if we get fair prices for those two, plus you've got one wage versus two.
And a potential homegrown space is freed up.

Assuming Poch doesn't see either as first choice any longer, of course.

I'm not being dramatic. I see KWP as the future at awb role. He seems to me as though he has changed his game up and is doing much more skill and dribbling than at any other time in his career. Dare I say, he is making the same transitions as Bale did when he changed his game. Something is gonna click for this click, could be as simple as bulking up, but when it does, and it will under Poch, he is gonna be fire. We will sell and buy at rb this window I'm sure but he will rise to the top within 2 seasons is my call.

I agree - I never seen him as technically out of depth in any of the games he has played. Physically perhaps a bit underdeveloped but obviously just a couple of years away. Has a good future I think.
