"I think Chelsea next season will absolutely be the team to beat, bearing in mind the manager change and the manager that we expect to come,
"Our step at the moment is to be into the Champions League, probably not title contenders but we hope to be competitive next season if we manage to do things properly in the summer.
"You have to strengthen for next season to get a higher tally of points."

i would so like us to be challengeing for the title as a statement. many on here rightly or wrong feel that we can challenge for that title. yes there are arguments to be made that we are fighting for 4th how can we challenge for the title. reading AVB's comments of fighting for a CL spot feels so underwhelming. i want to see us competing and winning trophies like the fa cup and being in with a chance of the title with 5 games to go.
