A few buddies and I are coming over to London mid November and are looking to go to the Palace match at Selhurst. I’m almost certain we wont be able to get any away section tickets through the club, let alone 3 together. But are they on sale at Palace? Or through any resale? I havent gotten any ticketing emails from my nyspurs supporters club membership as i was hoping to maybe get tickets through there so we’re looking at other ways. Unfortunately, we wont be able to make the CL match on Tuesday as we cant take that many days off work but at least seeing spurs away is better than not seeing spurs.

Apologies if this is not the place for this

I go to most games away and pretty much all home. The last time tickets weren't allocated using the loyalty points system for season ticket holders only (so, not even going to members or general sale) was probably several years ago at best.

The exception to this has been a few lesser desired European away games and possibly northern, early stage cup tournaments against undesirable opposition.

Palace will not be selling away section tickets.

Long story short, your options are:

-Enquire about hospitality if you have the money for it, as you stand a good chance then, the earlier the better.
-Try to become a Palace member and get tickets in the Palace section. (Disclaimer, I'm not necessarily condoning this for anyone with 'power' reading and in some instances, this may not be 'allowed'. But I', just saying it's an option.)
-Wait to see if it goes on general sale for the home section.
-Friends who might be selling their away tickets. Not legal though.
-Touts. But seriously don't bother with touts. Nasty people. Not legal either.

Sounds like we’re most likely SOL then unless we get tickets through general sale with palace(ill have to contain myself in the home section)

If you are looking for odd tickets rather than three together then hang about out side the away end from a couple of hours before kickoff. At Newcastle and Old Trafford there were quite a few spares going.

Have a look at this:

International membership should work for you. Obv, one off cost and means sitting with home fans, but better than nothing. We do something similar at Fulham (all away fans do) where you register and then get into their "neutral" section. Brilliant away day, but game is in January.

Ps. Selhurst is an absolute pony ground mind. Take train out of London Bridge to Norwood Junction, then on your trotters for 20 mins.

with it being a London derby I would expect this to be a sell out, and that even Palace will sell under a loyalty scheme

I've never had to deal with touts before, but just out of interest, why do they have such a bad rep?
I'll answer this myself. Most of them sell above face value. They don't represent the club so have no right to sell tickets they never intend on using themselves (taking opportunity for genuine fans to buy if it sells out). They do it simply to make money off the club. More needs to be done to stop it considering you turn up near a ground and guys are standing there openly asking to sell and buy tickets. All the while cops are standing across the road turning a blind eye to it (I guess it's not their field but even so).

I assume they sell at well above face value too?
