So he got fines and costs which amount to nothing on his kind of salary but he also got 250 hours of community service.

I hope he won't be able to choose what he does. I'd rather see him collecting litter from the parks and streets than doing some kind of football training with kids which would hardly be a punishment for driving without a licence and while banned.

That's not going to happen though is it? Otherwise there would have to be tax-payer funded bodyguards/minders to keep fans and onlookers away. It'll be some private shit somewhere.

Boy George had to sweep up rubbish. Why not Tevez?

Whatever sort of community service is handed out to Tevez no doubt he will find someway of avoiding carrying it out. Horrible little toad he is.

If he can't do anything in public, then he should be given something like the interior of a very large building, perhaps a community centre or similar that needs it, to paint. He would only need one supervisor to ensure he does it properly and it could be done at times when the public aren't using it and won't be allowed in.

Same old shit, if you have wealth and power you'll get away with murder, and quite literally too.

Tevez's offence wasn't the worst thing in the world but I'd like to know how many people convicted of the same are given jail sentences and how many do get community service and fines.

To be fair, although I understand the annoyance that the fine would be fuck all to him I don't think it's right adjusting fines in terms of income as it should be done by the severity of the crime. However, his community service should be substantial like Cosmic's post above.

Hope he's so absorbed in his community service that he doesn't remember to turn up when we play Shitty.
