Baldini could be sacked after failure to sign a striker this summer

Lennon and Soldado certainly know Pooch does not want them in his sides. Paulinho and Naughton will also have their doubts.
But all of them playing well will be vital if we are to push the top 4.

It is nonsense to think Baldini tried to sell these players behind his back anymore than he sold Sandro, Holtby, Daws and Sugurdsson without Pooch's say so.
For all Pooch's declarations that he is very happy with the squad, he has been ruthless this summer.

Unless Soldado has a complete howler like last season which is highly unlikely, he will remain as one of our integral attacking options for this campaign. Plus, Pooch has publicly stated that he's been injured and remains in his plans...

That's got to be one of the dumbest article headlines I've ever seen. Not going to click on the article.

if it werent for the fact that the head coach keeps telling everyone that weve got an unbelievable squad, this story would make COMPLETE SENSE.
Next!
Tbh I really don't think he believes that, I think he is toeing the partyline. The thing that makes it unbelievable to me is the Baldini lining up moves for three players even though Poch wants them to stay.

Seems to me the the major failure this T/W was not in failing to find a striker but in failing to find 'good homes'. (either sell or loan) for those who were expendable, thus making it impossible to bring in any more new players. People obsess with the incomings but just as important are the outgoings & to me that's where this T/W fell down.
It comes down to whether players want to leave. I have no doubt that multiple bids were accepted for multiple players but none wanted to go. You know how hard it was to get Dawson to leave? That took like 6 weeks of convincing from both clubs!!!

Yeah that's kind if my point though. No one said it's easy, but it has to be done somehow. if it was easy they'd have someone on 40k a year doing it
