Heres hoping, id have him back in a heart beat - even at the end of his career. Loves the club and we the club love him - so glad he's doing well

Why does this keep getting mentioned? Isn't this a year old, thought this was his statement when he left?

I hope he does well and get many honours at Madrid, but then gets home sick in a couple of years and comes back to Spurs and brings his mate Modric back with him...... they are just what we could do with now ;)

Bullshit.

Loves the club so much that he forced his way out of it only a year after signing a long-term contract. If the prick ever comes back it will be too soon. He can go and play for Newport or Cardiff; he's probably got a picture of himself wearing their shirt as a kid.

Come on mate, that is a bit harsh. He was outstanding for Spurs and always played 110%. He won us so many games of his own boot in his final season with us. That was arguably the best individual season by a Spurs player ever.

He obviously has a special place for Spurs as the club that really formed his career and took him too the next level. Do we really blame him for leaving? He is playing in the same side as Ronaldo and just won the champions league!

I have no time for anybody who fucks our club over - no matter how good a player they are, how well they might have played for us or what their justification was. He fucked us over, so I have absolutely no desire to see him - or his ugly dwarf friend - in a Spurs shirt again.

As for him having the best ever individual season by a Spurs player, that is one of the the most risible comments it has ever been my misfortune to read on this forum.

Yeah what ever ? Bale made me smile after a long time as a spurs fan. Not only the goals he scored but the way he controlled the ball with pace. The way he killed Macon the best full back in Europe at that time is somthing too remember. The goal v Man U, the goal v west ham. We were a one man team that season or two. So go back too your hole you silly spurs arm chair fan. You will never maybe see a play like bales class at spurs for a longtime.i will love him back at spurs anytime. I hope he comes and watches us play now and again. Bale is always welcome at the lane. I think most spurs will agree with that.

How did he fuck Spurs over? You sound drunk and angry. Sorry you're having a bad weekend.

Perhaps you slept through the summer of 2013 when he and his agent engineered his transfer. Or perhaps - apparently like many others on here - you think it's fine for players to hold the club to ransom because they fancy a change, so long as they played a few good games while they were here.

Please explain how I 'sound drunk'. Is it because I've expressed an opinion that you don't agree with or are you possessed of some form of (inaccurate) prescience?

He moved to a bigger club and we got a billion quid for him. I don't see the problem.

I only post angry rants when I'm drunk and assumed everyone did. I apologise for my mistake. :)

Let me explain, by way of an analogy.

I fuck your wife and give you a tenner. I'm willing to bet you'll want to kill me. If I fuck your wife and give you a million, do you still want to kill me or do you now not see a problem? Consider your answer carefully; it will say a lot about you.
