Better he is out three months and it gets sorted than have a new King on our hands :/ We have Lee who I'm more than happy with. No many other sides have two quality LB's.

damien comolli has found the new zokora

:rofl::rofl::rofl:

Strained ligaments? Three months sez the club website? That's the heart of the season gone. And we definitely cannot survive for all that time on just YPLee and Steed for the left flank.

I think the squad now needs both a LB and a LM in January. As well as a new CB and a new CM. (And Cudicini - if the rumours are to be believed.)

in the long term, we've probably made a good decision. Plus, Bale will hopefully come back into the team when we're in the latter stages of the FA Cup and Uefa Cup

Nicky Shorey will be available in january as he has 6 months left on his contract, there was also talk about Matty Taylor being available, both would be handy.

Gutted. That kid's been such a ray of sunshine in a shite season. Definitely worth taking the long term view than a quick fix solution though.

Gift and the curse maybe

Curse is obviously the injury

Gift - probably now going to look to sign a decent leftie in the window, something we would probably have waited to the summer. i.e. a new left back, leaving player x and Malbranque, and when Bale comes back, he can play either role.

Oh for fuck sake, will we ever get a decent shot at putting out our first team? Seriously, who else gets this kind of injury trouble over the space of 10 bloody years! :bang:
