It's not that great a safe tbh....

Can't remember but back in the 70's, 80's you didn't have substitute keepers on the bench so if the keeper was sent off or injured an outfield player had to go in goal. It would be interesting to see a list of players that did it, Hoddle certainly did, I think a few creative players fancied themselves in goal.
