Bale is left footed, get over it. The hint has something to do with playing down the left hand side. Even when we have one of the most exciting talents in the league and even the world emerging, there are still some who cant help themselves but to find faults which are not there.

Bale is godish, but he lacks a right foot, or faith in it.

you might forget his wonder cross with it vs Young Boys 4-0 ( i think ) , it was from out foot and one of the best cross i've ever seen from him ( dont' remember what happened in that chance

I agree, with that shot tonight, he did the right thing with the time he had, just it was another example (mb a bad one, but certainly an in-your-face move against his right foot).

Against WBA his position was much more acute than Berba's that's all that lends me to think his right would have been better.

I agree too. He had so much time, and it was natural to get the ball over on his left for that shot. Good shot and good save.

The funny thing is, when Bale was growing up he was forced to only use his right foot in training, because he was so much better than the other kids. So maybe he is just making up for lost time using only his left foot now

Does this post not contradict itself?

And anyway, read the posts first before resorting to spouting off-the-shelf fantalk.

We are going to have a heck of a job keeping hold of him in the next couple of transfer windows .

Enjoy watching all that monkey magic while you can .

Can't bear the thought of him in a Man Utd shirt .

No it doesnt Julie, learn to read. I don't need to read the posts, I was replying to your first post which was a heavily disguised dig at him because he wont do what you want. Now in games when he wont use his right foot when you want him to will lead to more ridiculous 'improvement' disguised threads to have a go at him again. Pretty soon the disguise will drop.

Can't see him going to Utd, he doesnt have a right foot. Bit like Giggs....erm, wait a min. Have any Utd fans ever started a thread wishing Giggs would use his right foot more ?

BAE is even more left-footed. I love the way he dribbles down the field never once touching the ball with his right foot. Seems difficult to do that.

Ha! Get over yourself and stop reading what you want to read rather than what is actually written. Heavily disguised? Why would I even be arsed to go to the trouble of heavily disguising something!! Give me a break... I wouldn't swap him for the world, but my original point is still valid.

I bet they have. In fact I remember in the early 2000s a lot of Man Utd fans thought it was time for him to move on and was being heavily criticised and there was lots of speculation in him going to Inter.

The OP has made it abundantly clear he is a massive fan of Bale and is not taking a dig at him at all.

I wes very smug when Bale scored that low right foot shot, near post at the end of last season .

I'd advised him (thru here) to turn inside and shoot with his right the day before .

He's got a right foot for instant shots , as I had a left foot shot if I turned inside as a right winger ,but I couldn't cross or long pass with it ,much like him .

I'm not comparing myself to Bale of course , he's unlikely to reach my level anytime soon .

I forget a lot of things. That's why I covered my ass by putting in "or faith in it" :)

He's done a few of those crosses on the volley from a pass from distance, with his left foot. They are the stuff of dreams. Even better than his volleyed goal against stoke.

If he was right footed, no one would be talking about it.
