He's a fucking moron. That was probably one of the biggest moments of this ladies career and he's ruined it for her by acting like a class A knob

Yep it’s a stupid thing to say but as per usual there’s a mass of outrage and over reaction. People just want to be offended and complain nowadays.

Imagine if you worked your way to the pinnacle of your career, and was given a special awards night for it. When going up on stage to receive your reward, you're asked if you're able to "helicopter" your cock. How would you feel about being asked that on your big day?

So you're saying I could helicopter my cock with total impunity in front of all of my colleagues?! Sounds like too good an opportunity to miss :playful:

(But yes, Solveig fucked up)

Normally with these kinds of things I'd agree with you that people are looking for something to get offended about, but in this particular instance I think the outrage is justified. As @NinjaTuna says above, it should've been the proudest moment of her career being recognised by her peers as the best player in the sport, and she's had that taken away from her and ruined by some idiot DJ cracking a shit joke.

When you couple it with the fact that this is the first ever women's Ballon D'Or and therefore was meant to be an indication and celebration of how the women's game was being recognised alongside the men's, it makes it even more ridiculous that the host has then effectively on stage demonstrated exactly the kind of attitude that this event was meant to be signalling the end of.

Im agreeing with you. Why was somebody with nothing to do with football whatsoever giving her the award anyway. I’m not saying footballers are the bastions of integrity but at least they would respect her achievements. All a bit bizarre he was there in the first place

Yeah i thought that was very odd. Puts a real silly spin on the whole integrity of the awards. As @'O Zio says above, they're trying to show women's football should be viewed with the same interest as men's football and yet they've got some has-been knob twister (no offence to you SC-DJs) hosting the awards

The whole ceremony was weird
