whilst he is very talented, he just needs to grow up, I read somewhere that in 28 games for city he has had 11 yellow cards and 2 red cards and scored 10 goals.

Chris, where did ya get the photos of the lads playing in the new kit?

all over the place after a long time on google

Balotelli did think he was offside, thats why he did the turn thing he did rather than just sticking the ball away.

Mancini over reacted for me, but a big mistake from Balotelli

Fair enough of it was 0-0 but at 1-0 it's fair for him to try a trick to please the crowd apparently he also thought he was offside

I'd take him for us

1) it was insulting to the crowd who jeered him for it.
2) he knew he was onside, he is just trying to make excuses.

It was disrespectful, it went beyond 'showboating' and i would have been pretty insulted if i was in the oppo or the crowd.

If it had gone in, 99% of Citeh fans, and probably a fair portion on here, would've been laughing about it, what a cheeky finish etc., it's only because it missed that we can all say what a prick he is.

Well, i don't need that footage as i can't see it at work anyway, so i'll just call him a prick for not being able to work a bib.

Personally, whilst it seems Mankini over-reacted initially, i respect the way he dealt with it - just calmly stated that he wasn't taking it seriously so he took him off, that it would educate him in the long run and how he wants to help Bill O'telly develop into a rounded professional.

Right now though, he's still a proper cock.

I think he is brilliant! I could spend hours reading all the bizarre Balotelli stories online. Throwing darts at the youth team, giving a tramp £1000, preventing a kid being bullied...the list is endless

Tramp probably died from alcohol poisoning and/or an overdose within a couple of hours, but hey - it's the thought that counts, right?

I wouldn't want him at Spurs but I really don't get this.
If he had scored it would have been a Maradona/George Best type thing as it is he ends up looking like a 3rd rate Rasiak.
To me he was just trying something flash in s friendly, no big deal.

Only one of those is true though.

However good he might be on his day, this guy is a massive liability. He'll end up costing City dearly in a big game.

This is true and i'm glad i live in an age where the first response to this from other teams supporters will to be to rush up to their 'puter and turn the incident into an animated gif, which will finish with a troll face.

High times

I still want him at Spurs. I reckon VdV could tell him a few truths about being too big for your boots, and then point out Bentley as an example of where he'll end up if he doesn't buck up.

Off topic - VdV would be a good Captain!
