How comes Rio Ferdinand got a longer ban for missing a drugs test than Kolo Toure did for actually failing one? The FA bottled the Johnson because they fear a backlash from Dalglish after already banning Suarez. It was UEFA that accepted the appeal to reduce Rooney's ban.

The FA still had the cheek to contest the ban though.

TBF I think Rio was banned because the FA were trying to stamp they're authority, also they were unable to find Rio innocent or guilty because he didn't bother going for the test. For all we know he could have been smoking crack!

Yeah I don't think it should have been reduced, however, it's not like UEFA did it because they love the English so much - fuck knows why they did though.

Reckon we could have done with a goal before half time though, what do you think?

I reckon we could of done with scoring that third goal in the dying seconds....we would all be on the biggest buzz in years...

I think the agent got a point, hoe Lescott hasn't been charged is shocking and Webb must have seen it!

I mentioned this on another thread earlier, I'm glad it's not just me who sees it like this. Though it doesn't seem to be benefiting average English players, rather those who are England internationals. One's who the FA rely on as poster boys etc.

It does seem very fishy.

Rio getting banned for 9 months??

His agent does have a point, but if Balotelli did'nt stamp on Parkers fucking head, then he would'nt have got in trouble or banned. Simples.

I doubt his agent gives a fuck either way whether it was a stamp or not.

He will just be rubbing his hands together at the media 'persecution'. Perfect excuse to stamp his feet and drum up some further drama.

Just hoping for a large cut of any move he can engineer.
