It seems guardiola is ready to quit the nou cam. Is he thinking of changing leagues? Would he replace benitez???

dont think he is going to quit. it is more about who becomes president. Guardiola cannot stand Laporta and might quit if it is godall or Sala i Martin who is president. If it is Rosell(likely) or guixa(no chance at all) then he will sign a new deal

For anyone who missed it, check out this chip from Bojan Krkic for Barca's goal against Kazma in a friendly yesterday. He's apparently not best pleased about his lack of game time. Cheeky January bid

Also, note the way Ibrahimovic nearly nicks the goal as its crossing the line. Ultimate poaching that, just glad he didn't steal it!

The berks from ESPN debated Barca on Footy Focus last night. They said that they couldn't be considered among the best teams ever as they were embryonic and lacked consistency.

Now, regardless of whether they are the best team ever, that's a seriously fucking talented embryo they're talking about and how exactly could you be more consistent than winning the last six tournaments you enter?

Mind, they say the same about Gomes, so perhaps they've confused the word inconsistent with one of its antonyms.

Barca are undefeated in the League this season. Hardly inconsistent. But bearing in mind that Joe Royle works for ESPN, it doesn't surprise me.

The big challenge for Barca is whether they can continue this sort of form over several seasons. If they accomplish that then it will be as good, if not better, than the Cruyff era of the early 90s.

inconsitant at what???? lost 5 la liga games last and had 87 points. 2 loses were after the title was clinched.

beaten once in the camp nou in 3 years. la liga and champions league. over 100 league goals. what is not consistant???? even the criticisim that that Barca are leaky at the back no longer applies.

Feel free to direct your vitriol to Paul Masefield, Steve McMahon and the other dribbling idiots on ESPN Asia. And feel sympathy that this is what passes for football punditry in this part of the world. Come back Lawro all is forgiven, I say.
