We have one for Real Madrid so why not include Messi and friends.
Thanks to UncleBuck for spotting it.

Would be a big shock. He hates them and they hate him so I can't see it personally.

No way does Mourinho go there.

Not sure who they would actually go for though, they haven't really got a track record of going for a big name when it comes to managers? Maybe Xavi comes back.

I presume the name Mourinho was mentioned in jest. Apart from the mutual hatred, he's virtually the antithesis of the brand of football Barca are renowned for and their supporters expect. Man U compromised because they were desperate and wrongly believed Mourinho would guarantee them success even if it wasn't pretty. Barcelona are nowhere near that stage yet.

They do need freshening up though, it's actually amazing that Barcelona used to stand for these morals and values and use to laugh at Real for spending big money on Galaticos when they've been arguably doing the same thing recently.

Let's say I mentioned Mourinho "tongue in cheek"....:sneaky:

They have some quality players but they default to Messi too much.

IMO they miss Neymar and Dembele needs to be more professional, he has incredible natural ability.

This was on BBC text this morning. Possible option?

Juventus and their coach Massimiliano Allegri are to part company after five seasons and five league titles. Former Juve manager and player Antonio Conte has been linked with a return. (La Stampa - in Italian)

Ajax manager linked to them. Would be a mistake for both.

Interesting rumor. Would actually suit the Barcelona way of playing football under Pep and Cruyff. Not a merited manager but are there any other managers out there that would suit Barcelona? Maybe Max Allegri..?

He's not even close to good enough for that level, yet.

Not sure who they could go for if they wanted to swap manager. Not that many great managers out there who could be tempted. Would be hilarious if they went after Klopp.

Yeah that's my thought too. Maybe Jose Bordalas as an outsider for the postion? Done miracles at Getafe this season and they're looking at Champions League next season if Valencia can't push through at the last hour..

Have to wonder, with Barca reported to be having a huge sale this coming window, we might just be able to pick up a bargain.

The manager won the double last year, and is on course for it again this year? And they want to sack him? I know they're a big club and they want to win the champions League, but I think this is ridiculous.

Once Messi starts disagreeing with team selections, which apparently was the case for the second leg, it doesn't matter who you are or what you've achieved, you're out soon enough either way.

Plus I don't think you can overstate just how damaging their last two CL exits have been.

Valverde has done a great job but there's no getting away from the fact they have thrown away big leads to Roma and Liverpool in the Champions League. Against Liverpool they just couldn't live with the relentless pace. I thought it was crazy not to start Semedo over Roberto at right back. I also prefer Arthur to Vidal and they already looked a lot better on the ball in midfield when he came on. I know Vidal is often used to get stuck in but he too was off the pace of Liverpool.

I don't think they're far off being the best team in the world again. They just need to freshen up in a few key areas. They can't play Pique and Busquets as often anymore. Rakitic isn't getting any younger either. De Jong goes a long way to freshening up the midfield. They really should get De Ligt as a long term Pique replacement too. Add to that a new centre forward (you can't play Suarez every game up there) and I think they'll be set.
