Match: ____ Champions League (CL) - Group B __ Round 6

When: ____ Tuesday, December 11 2018

Where: ____ Nou Camp

Kick Off: ____ 8:00pm

Team Spurs: ____ Barca DWWWW ____ Spurs WWLWW ____ (All Competitions)

Barca are unbeaten in their previous 3 meetings with us in all competitions, winning the last two. They defeated us 2-4 at Wembley earlier in this season in our home leg against them. Barca have lost just one of their last 12 CL meetings with English clubs (W9 D2 L1), with that defeat coming in November 2016 at Man City (3-1)

Match day 6 is the only matchday in the CL group stages that we have never lost on, winning 2 and drawing 1 of our 3 games. We are winless away from home in the CL this season (D1 L1), we have won at least 2 away points in every previous CL group stage.

Kane has scored seven goals in his seven Champions League away games. While Messi has scored 22 goals against English clubs in the CL, 10 more than any other player (Christiano Renaldo, 12 goals)

Tbh I have absolutely no expectations for tomorrow, let's just don't get hammered and progress to the Europa League with some kind of dignity.

Ugh wish this was tonight, can't wait another 24 hours.

Hopefully Messi has an "off" night, we may have a chance!

We will either give a good account of ourselves or make it an uphill battle by giving away a stupid goal in the first 10 minutes.

Eg. Barcelona this year, juventus last year.

We need to get at them. We need everyone on full alert, aware of their roles and responsibilities. We need to not give them any time on the ball and need our big players to step up. We’ve done it before, we can do it again. Never has there been a scenario where Poch’s call for being ‘brave’ been so apt. Despite the negativity surrounding our early season, we’re somehow defying expectations. We need to defy expectations again. Our away record is a thing of beauty at the moment, and a thousand miles from the shitflakes it was ten- fifteen years ago. We can go there and do it. We can win

This is my first ever away trip with the Spurs. Surely they would t be so rude as to let me down?

I'm hearing there are 10,000 Spurs fans out there already.

Also a pal of mine has stated there are muggers and pickpockets aplenty, phones and wallets the primary targets.

Stay safe lads.

Whats worrying me is which spurs shirt I should wear. The wrong one can have a catastrophic affect on the result.
This seasons 3rd shirt seems to let me down a lot (Arsenal).
I went with home Kane shirt, one with black sash, at weekend so might wear that and hope the Leicester game didn't absorb all its magical properties.
Hopefully its had time to recharge.

I suppose this game in some ways could work to our advantage seeing us we must be quite a big underdog so in turn keeping a bit of the pressure off.
I really don't expect to get the result we need or hope it's a tough ask and we should have done better in both the PSV and Milan games away leading in both only to allow them back in through a lack of discipline, but as ever good luck to the team and management tomorrow and hope they do it.

Just wish we had the ability to keep things real tight. I know it's Barca at the Nou Camp and it doesn't come much harder but no Spurs fan would be surprised if we concede in the opening 10 minutes.

Yes that is the fear similar to juventus away last year I think we were 2-0 inside the first 20 mins and they missed a penalty, although in fairness we did come back to play some good stuff but we got off on the wrong foot can't afford to do that tomorrow night.
