I noticed this against Leicester, that time it was Davies and Eriksen and it worried me. But why are we having 2 players especially one defender over the free kicks?? Leicester weren't good enough to punish us but Barca did. If Rose was next to KWP then he lays it off to him instead of turning back and getting in a muddle.

We just seem to self destruct in the big games early on often.

He had Alli back to the right if he'd have drawn the keeper in. Same goes for Kane when he tried to shoot on his left. And Son failing to pick out Rose

We really waste a lot of changes by not being a bit more clever. Yes you can't walk everything into the net but you can give a team mate a cast iron chance instead of trying something hopeful at best
City are amazing at this. They always look for someone in a better place, and there usually is someone too.

Look, besides KWP's mistake and Son wasting a couple of chances, we've been pretty good. Had enough of the ball and after a bad start have came more into it. Some of you are being horrendously harsh.

Do think we need a bit more urgency and would like see Lamela come on at some point. Not enough service into the box and delivery needs to improve from set pieces.

Son should have equalised. We should be level. Cant miss a chance like that at this level. They dont come very often.

Agree - loved that he's not afraid to take the game on. Good mentality.

However his ability to get back when needed is a major concern. especially in a 4 man defence.

We used to say that about Rose until Poch got a hold of him and he wasn't exactly a toddler at that stage either. I'm of the belief that Poch wouldn't have played him if he didn't think he was capable. He could've played Sossage out there, christ, remember when we had Son play back there?

He needs experience and i'm sure that whatever talent he's shown in training will start to shine through, i have faith in Po.

We’ve been vulnerable at the back all season unfortunately, which is why I never really believed we could get a result.

Such a shame Son fluffed that chance.

I'm not as hot on Son for that one as others are. He'd been forced to an angle by the attempted tackle and had no support - Keeper got his angles right and made the save.

Perhaps he should have dived to get the red card but a) can't guarantee this ref would give it seeing as Vermaelen's allowed to dive two footed over the top without sanction and b) diving sucks balls

Everyone knows that Eriksen is going to take it anyway. Only Lamela is likely to take one out of our other players if Eriksen is on the pitch

Because putting a left footer out there keeps the keeper and defence guessing if it's going to be A in or out swinger.

the goal we conceded was more about our wank set plays than individual mistakes, we stick so many in the box but never beat the first man from them when the opponents hold a high line.

Easy to blame KWP. Yes it was probably his fault but he was well pressurised by Dembele. I think Pochettino is more at fault for such risky set play tactics so early in the game. We've been wide open for counters two or three times from set pieces.

We just needed to be patient not force the issue and more players should have been back. Surely you'd have Sissoko back there as well?
Nonsense. If KWP executes a very basic bit of control then pass, then there's absolutely no issue with the set piece set up.

What I liked about KWP is that he was initially disappointed as he knew it was his mistake, but he owned it and then was pretty decent for the rest of the half (apart from that yellow card challenge). It shows a lot of maturity.

Rose wasn’t a toddler but he was a left midfielder. He had to learn a completely new position.
