Big game tonight im very excited - hopefully we can get something from it. However I don't think we will, only if Barca goes full B-side, which they won't in the CL. Also think Inter will beat PSV easy, as they have nothing to play for.

And you already know that Lloris will fuck it up and cost us the game. Hopefully not as he has played well lately.

Sorry for the negativity, I would love to be proved wrong.
No you're not... you're pathetically negative all the fucking time.

Cheers mate!

Do you think we will win at Camp Nou?

Fuck knows...im not psychic.
What I won't do though, is make up silly little negative scenarios in my head as some sort of defence mechanism to make me feel a little bit better if they come true.
Because that's just fucking weird.

I’m in Barcelona and buzzing. I said after we drew at PSV that we would go through by beating Barca in one of our most famous victories and I’m sticking with that. COYS !!!!

I think we'll need PSV to get a result for us to go through, but I'll be content as long as we give a good account of ourselves.

If we go out tonight it'll be because of the Inter and PSV away results, not because we fail to win in the Nou Camp.

I have very mixed feelings about this game

A part of me is confident we will win, Kane Alli Eriksen KWP Rose Jan Toby will all have a big game

But the other part of me thinks that we will play Barca in Camp Nou, Messi will probably play and those player who hasn’t played much will want to prove a point

I’ve been thinking about this game all week I’m going crazy, I really don’t want us to be in the Europa League, I hate that tournament

Please please please God, Universe anyone please let us win
Let’s hope Barca leaves him on the bench then!

Spot on that was were the damage was done not losing here if that is to be the case.
I can't help feeling that all this coming out Spain regarding how Barcelona line up is being used to lure us into a false sense of security.

Some interesting stuff in the press about Barcelona teams picked for last game when already qualified. On some occasions it has been 8 changes, once it was 11, and the average is 7. If that is the case tonight we are well in it. As long as we don’t give away the usual stupid goal in first ten mins. We are well capable of scoring against anyone it just depends how many we concede.

If we use Deli man marking Messi (he did a fantastic man marking job when we thrashed Chelsea) and Sonny frightening them to death, then if we avoid the stupid errors you refer to I think we have every chance. We have proved all the pundits wrong with start that we have made this season in the EPL so we must be a good side. If it were not for the silly goals we gifted the opponents in 4 games, we would be sitting on top of the EPL and would already have qualified for this competition K o stage. We are a good team. No mistakes and we can compete. Dare to dream. I am going for he win.

Dele marked the deep lying playmaker who is considerably less agile than Messi; it would be a whole different game. You'd need someone small and nippy to stand a chance of man marking Messi, if that even is possible! Someone like Kante could probably do it.

Well, this is what the Champions League is all about... a knockout game at the Nou Camp vs Barcelona. A really tough ask, but who knows!! Nobody expects us to go through, but we have a team who, on their day, can beat anyone. Whatever happens tonight let’s give it all we have. COYS!!!!

I had a look again at the home game against Barcelona.
We didn't have Jan. We didn't have Dele. We didnt have Eriksen.
Son was rusty & off form
Lloris made a howler few minutes in game but if I have to cut some slack, he was coming straight back into game after a period of injury. Trippier & Davies in full back positions.
Wanyama was in CM, Sissoko played from bench who was not in form we have now.

Lloris gifted the first goal. Rakitic scored a unsavable screamer. Suarez played briliantly without the ball - literally Barca's 3rd & 4th goal was created because he sold our defenders dummy and let ball go to Messi. After their 2nd goal, we came back. Their manager looked worried for most of the second half. But in the end, Barcelona were bloody brilliant that day. Messi was playing at a different level. And we were rustly.

Fast forward 2 months :
We have now Jan, Dele, Eriksen for the XI. Sonny is flying. Kane is still scoring. Sissoko looks good. As a team we are clicking. Barca have nothing to play for & Suarez is injured. We clearly have a problem in RB and we clearly have a problem in Messi....

Having said, we have a real chance today. If we dont gift howlers and stay in the game as long as we could, we can punish Barca. Am not sure, we can beat them, but we can certainly get a away draw today. I have a sneaky feeling that might be enough today with PSV doing us a favour

It is a simple fact that we are a better team now than the one that played Barcelona at Wembley with everything to play for and knowing glory is the prize within our grasp.

Sid Lowe (based in spain) on football weekly reckons they will probably rest about half of their first team. Coach says that they respect the competition but don't owe inter any thing.

A must win game, I feel like Poch will spring a tactical surprise on them. Then again like Son at wing back against Chelsea or Foyth in CB versus arsenal, it may not work.

This Spurs team is the same team that beat Real Madrid fair and square. I see no reason why we shouldn't be able to beat a Barcelona with nothing to play for. Wether Messi plays and wether he's in the mood is most likely the most important variable though.

It really feels like Pochettino and the players have had their eyes on this match for weeks. That's why I'm certain we'll play well.
