feel this anti barrios vibe im picking up on is very similar to people's initial reaction to when we were first linked to wanyama. That turned out to be one of the best if not the best business poch has done.

if he can come over and be our colombian kante than he would be a steal and we'd just need to add that class ball moving cmfer, if winks cant make that spot his own.

Barrios was an absolute **** in England-Colombia World Cup game. Really horrible and at the time I said I didn't want a player like him at our club.

But I guess now I can forgive him, high stakes, very emotional etc. But I didn't like what I saw from him that game.

Spurscommunity: We want signings, especially in CM where we need more.

Spurs reported to be signing a young, starting international CM who played well at the world cup for a highly ranked international side.

Spurscommunity: Not that one!

He was only carrying out Pekerman's orders.

<Barrios then goes to Monaco and turns into a top player and is linked to us for £60m>

Spurscommunity: If Levy truly backed Poch he would pay it. Why aren't we ever in for these players before they move to Europe!?!?

Who would be better in a years time WB or Oliver Skipp? Personally I think Skipp has a far higher ceiling.
Based on what? You could say Wilmar is far more established than Skipp, i.e. plays for his country, starts for Boca, played over 100+ first team games. I would love to be proven wrong but how do we know Skipp will turn into a first team player in the next year?

I think Skipp is a massive talent I think WB is a very limited player, I don’t see him as a better player than Dier or VW, I know both are not in form but both have been good let’s not let Diers form dip blinker is his a good player who can get better. personally think Skipp could be very special.

@Ossie85 - How is his temperament? I know the WC match was a one off but how do you think he would adapt to the prem? If you can't hold your temper you are useless in the prem. Walking red card etc.

from what I saw in the ICC trophy you might be right, but it depends on what he does in training and IF POCH THINKS he can handle the big stage. not being funny but the biggest stage of all is the WC

I've seen Skipp he's got potential. I honestly thought Onomah was ready am still quietly excited by Onomah but that's football. Barrios is young tried and tested, technically good on the ball, has a machine like engine ie work load pressing is Lamela plus like, he is really relentless fearless in the tackle aswell .

Personally it's a win win situation to get him I'm sure Sanchez wouldn't object too and Pochettinho seems to like.
