Good article from some one who knows what he is talking about. the thought of players such as Lennon regaining their form and even improving under Ramos is great to hear. Give it a month and i reckon we will begin to see real improvement in this side, mainly due to fitness levels increasing. Whether we will be able to even get one Sevilla player because of their chairman i dont know but Christian Poulsen would be a must for us IMO.

It is promising to read articles like that. I wonder how long it will be until he stamps his mark on the team?

By the sounds of the first training sessions today I would say he already has

I think we need to be careful, we should judge him on next season, not expect too much straight away.

i hate to be all doom and gloom but all this hype does seem slighty excessive. At the end of the day we still have an over weight goalkeeper no midfield creativity until january at least

Can anyone else see that we are not well-stocked with his preferred kind of player? Read the article. Huddlestone, Zokora, Berbatov and others do not fit the bill of fast-moving, hard-working players.

The players will have to be non-stop - like action men who happen to be good at football.

How many of players can do that?

Every game, no matter who or where they are playing, Ramos's teams go for the throat from the off and keep it going for 90 minutes. They are hungry, determined, aggressive and all of that with moments of pure brilliance.

I hope some of you live long enough to see us play like that. I'm not so optimistic .

i really think we've got our man, i good manager in the spurs mould. GIVE HIM TIME AND MONEY! and we could go places. i expect us to play very similar to how we have been for at least 8 games or so as change takes time. BUT AS WE GET USED TO HIM AND HIS ENGLISH IMPROVES we will start to see a turnaround. i predict us to come 11th, and get to a semi-final. sounds shit but it's next season we'll start to see a new spurs and the one after that that things could happen. i know we've said that before, but this time we have a perfect manager, given time and money we may finally get to where we want to be. C'MON RAMOS!

Really BOF? You surprise me, surely Kanoute is testiment of Ramos ability.

I agree with Nicdic, don't get over excited. Although I would expect to see some improvement from all players due to the "New Manager" factor.

On a side issue, the article has a pic of KPB saying he was Ramos type of player and if memory serves I can remember Ramos wanting him but plumped for Keita as the cheaper option. Bet he's rubbing his hands together after this events this week.

I can see Ramos converting Kaboul into a towering powerhouse of a midfielder that he seems to like, anyone else see that?

Now if he signed Poulson aswell we could get a midfield of this:

Lennon.....Kaboul.....Poulson.....Bale

Naturally width with a proper left footer on the left and two double hard bastards in the middle, I could defo see this midfield line.

All I want to see is our team beginning to adopt his overall philosophy, once they get it, the rest will come. If we just stay up and end the season strongly, in terms of how we're playing, I'll be happy. We'd have started something really exciting. Ramos is the logical next step in the evolution of THFC.
