The performance was no different to a handful away in europe last year, but becasue we are going through a tough time the commentary team and Pat Nevin etc decided that they were going to spin everything that way. Last year it would have been a solid job done performance in a hostile arena against a team that did nothing but defend. This year it was a dire game with everybody demonstrating poor body language and errors. I am not saying it was blinding, it wasn't but the tone was set early on when all Berbatov did was not get up quick enough from being fouled from behind and Pat nevin declared him "clearly not his usual self". To be fair his fellow presenter did say "but he's always like that".

well said BC :) -

talk about put the knife in early and often, it was a blatant 'let's have a pop at spurs' evening - I really hope C5 are not going to join Sky in the anti-Spurs propaganda war.

It's bad enough having most of the press on our backs on a constant basis

The media have the bit between their teeth with the dismissal of Martin Jol. They won't give us an easy ride - we made no friends banning Graham Roberts and the Evening Standard from the 125 either. So methinks this will be par for the course - until good ol' ITV takes over the coverage. Pure unadulterated bias.

I watched the game - Spurs never took it out of second gear and still laid 2-0 on HTA. To be fair the homeside was $HITE, but Spurs got the goals in the first half. The commentators will take their shots - a neutral observer would've been bored to death in the second half. Not being a neutral observer, take the 2-0 and hammer Wigan on Sunday. COYS!!!

I'm happy with the victory, if we had started playing flowing football people would just say " It was against a crap team etc". We just need to get some points on the board over the next few games in europe and in the league and personally I don't care how we get them. I'm confident that in TIME Ramos will get us playing good football but at the moment that isn't the priority, grinding out results is.
