Looks like the Bumper Book of Made-up Rumours has been raided again. Have we had 'faked his own death and now works undercover for the FBI' or 'it's not him, it's his twin brother'? RIP Gary Speed. For some reasons you're better off out of it :-(

gary speed lived in the next village to me for nearly three years and only about 12 miles away from me up untill his tragic end.there are a lot of people around here who new him and his wife quite well so there have been a few rumours floating around ranging from him being gay to him being murdered but the latest one which has been gathering strength is that stephen gerrard was having an affair with his wife.personally I think its a load bollocks and we will never find out why he done it

also been told his wife was having an affair.....then i also got told about her twitter postings.

All seems to tie together but we will never known now because she wont admit it.

Like he was having an affair with...Darren Anderton. Also the other name mentioned was Aaron Ramsey.

its getting ridicolous now something bad enough has happended for him to die but now its time to let it go if any of the rumours are true they will appear in the paper after the funeral.

If they dont we will never know and this will be a guessing game forever its time to just let him rest in peace

I feel so sorry for the kids. You can bet they'll hear about this story. As if they haven't had enough of a rough time lately they've now got this to deal with. Even if it's not true it's still horrible for them to know that people everywhere are talking about this.

I expect there will be a lot of anger at them if it turned out to be true. It really is only a rumour at the moment.

I could easily set up a twitter account, claiming to be a football agent, then tweet that Ray Parlour has a secret Nazi torture chamber. It doesn't make it true. Probable...but not true.
