You have to admit that Levy has brainpower to wipe his arse with. I don't really want to move but if it has to be done, I'm not going to start supporting Man Utd.

I think hes gonna suprise a few people. Scholes is 36, Giggs is 37. I don't see why Beckham can't have the same input as those 2. He i'snt gonna fly all the way over here to sit on the bench. His pride will make sure he does everything he can to get in the starting 11.

its funny cos in that thread you claim Modric scores sufficient goals

How is that funny?

You know full well I currently want him to play as an AM and not a deep seated playmaker. It just proves if he is played elsewhere with a less defensive role, he can score goals. Back then he was playing on the left and scoring.

What else is funny? That in a random thread I was praising Modric?

Kinda proves a point eh that I was right that certain members don't read anything I post about Modric apart from zooming in on a 3 year old dated claim.

If you want to laugh at me, I never thought Modric would do well on the left and HR proved me wrong. Mega Bale evolved and took Modrics place, and I still think Modders should be unleashed further forward, and leave the dirty work to the grunts.

It also proves another thing: I am constantly trolled by 12 people on here that ALWAYS bring up Modric, Spice Boys etc, and then start to piss their pants that I have hijacked another thread.

The article would appear to be factually incorrect - it states the decision on Stratford is going to be taken in March, whereas it is taken as gospel the decision will be taken on or around 28th January with contract negotiations completed by March.

Beckham and the Stratford bid are mutually exclusive. 2+2 does not equal 5.

If the end product of his over hyped ambassadorial skills produce the same result as our World Cup bid it looks like we'll be staying in N17.

To be fair to the bidding team, including Becks, it didn't matter what they did, the decision to award the WC to Russia/Qatar was a forgone conclusion, the winners were not about who had the best bid as was shown, but about other factors.

Really FIFA should have just said what they wanted to do and the direction they wanted to go and told the others not to waste time and effort bidding.

It didn't matter how strong the other bids were, the fact they are even thinking of moving the date for the Qatar WC due to heat, highlights how wrong it was to give it to them and that is just one of many reasons Qatar shouldn't have won.
