Is there still anyone out there who does? i believe in us turning it around, i believe in us "saving" this season, i believe that we will get something out of this (cup/league etc) i also believe that we dont need knee jerk reactions to turn this around, just hard work.

Anyone still believe?

As power rock hair ballad merchants Journey would say "don't stop believing".

I've "felt" all season we will get to a final of at least one cup cup final.... So you can take that to the bank !

I've decided to lower my expectations after Sunday because it hurts too much to keep thinking we'll win and then having disasters like that. So now I'm telling myself we will avoid relegation and anything else is a bonus. But in my heart I am waiting for the big surge and a cup win. Truly can't see top 6 - I think we need to see this season as a chance to sort things out and really go for it next year.

IMO the top six is definately out. With more than a third of the season gone we'd have to go on a run of title winning form to get near it. And that ain't going to happen.

We definately won't go down, there are by far and away three worse teams than us. We may well be the team fighting against it, as there is always one team down there that are 'too good to go down'

Best we can hope for is top ten, maybe 8th at best and a good cup run in both domestics and europe, have a nice result against Man City in the 1/4's and anything can happen from there on in. Things is though, with Europe we have to play virtually the same team as we have now as anyone we'd be likely to buy in January would have already played in europe, therefore being eligible.

We'll just have to carry on the highs and lows so far of this season and ejoy it the best we can, at least we're not dull.

I tell you what though, i love being a spurs fan at the moment and i wouldn't change it for the world.

We've missed the boat to get top six on a points basis only, unless we have something out of a fiction story for the second half of the season.

However I believe we will stay up and I believe we'll win a cup - Yes I do!

Therefore I still think we can attain UEFA Cup next year.

We have had a mixture of shocking performances lacking in any effort, games where we just havent scored the million chances we have created or there has been an individual error.

I think the shocking performances have disappeared, although the individual errors are still there. However, what we still need to be is clinical.

Nevermind losing, how did we not score ten on sunday? We created so many chances, got into so many good areas, its just taking someone to show some composure or get into the right position to get a goal at the right time.

I think as confidence comes back, the team becomes more organised, and people get into the right positions at the right time we will be back on top form. We could easily do well in the cups.

Add in the defensive injuries we have suffered its no surprise we have let goals in, and even then had we not let in so many late goals we would still be much better off.

We are in a bad situation, league wise, but we have the players and staff to easily avoid it, starting with sunday

We will get a European spot and I think we'll win some sort of trophy.

You’ve gotta be kidding me…??

Oh I get it now, some sort of trophy loosely translates into survival. Totally with you on that one, if we manage to stay up it will be like winning a trophy of sorts I guess.

The bottom line is 2 wins in 15 league games…! That’s a sinking ship if ever I saw one...

I believe that Berbatov is going to find top gear just when we need him most - which is now seeing as R. Keane is out for the next 3 games.

I also believe that Kaboul is going to be fantastic now the pressure is kinda off him.

Everything is set up for a cup win this year. Complete shambles off the pitch, league results totally pants, to all an sundry we're a laughing stock, but from this disaster we shall rise, we'll save all our best games for the later part of cup competitions, when we'll feel freed from the shackles of league games. It's the sort of thing we do.

Last season we were 14 points off 5th place with 8 games to go...

At the moment we're 18 points off 5th with 23 games to go...

It's certainly possible, and you've got to take into consideration things like the players Portsmouth will lose to the ANC in January, whether or not Man City will keep their form up till the end...

We got 5th last season partly because of Bolton, Portsmouth and Blackburn slipping up too much towards the end... It's certainly doable, but we've got to start putting results together if we want to give ourselves a realistic chance...
