Ben Alnwick has joined Leyton Orient on loan for one month.

The former Sunderland stopper has spent time with Leeds United, Leicester City, Carlisle United, Luton Town and Norwich City on loan previously and has also made three appearances for the Club.

The 24-year-old will deputise for teammate David Button who suffered a shoulder injury while playing on loan for the O's during their recent Carling Cup victory over Bristol Rovers and will be assessed on Monday.

Arsehole is a bit harsh!!

But yeah, you have to wonder what he is doing with his career. He is 5th choice at best, what's the point in keeping him?

It is a bit harsh but some may disagree with some of his prior antics BUT it just pisses me off he is still when you consider it hasn't worked, it would be better if he joins another team and gets some playing time

He played today and was unlucky in the only goal he conceded as it was truly shocking defending but the O's did dominate second half

Wonder what's happened to Lee Butcher?

With Jamie Jones injured you'd think Butcher is getting pissed with loanee keepers constantly being bought in over his head.
