Not a huge fan of Davies at all but the lad kept it simple and played well today. Needed that bit of confidence

thought he was a complete passenger personally. i've never particularly had a problem with davies but he's been so meek and timid in everything he's done since getting into the side.

Harsh to call him a passenger thought he did a good solid job today

The thing with ben is that he essentially only cuts inside. He doesn't have the speed to go around the outside. This means that most of his passes will be sideways or backwards because any forward pass would be on his weaker right foot.

Actually thought he had one of his better performances for Spurs today. Got involved, didn't do anything massively wrong, but wasn't a decisive factor either. But of course, he never gets anywhere near the part of the final third that Rose usually dominates.

He's playing in defence not midfield that's what has happened to him
Disagree. The few times he has played in midfield this season has not been up to the standard he set last season. He has gone backwards in my opinion. Last season I was touting him as a future Spurs captain, on this season's performance, no way

You can't expect him to put in stellar performances in cm playing the odd game here and there. Wanyama has come in and done extremely well and displaced him and dier is being shoe horned into the team in positions that are not he's best imo

I think he's very good as the right sided centre back of back three.

Thought davies did better today. Hopefully hes growing into the player we hoped he would be and push on. I get the feeling his confidence hasnt been to good for a while as at 1 point for a decent period literally everything he did was terrible. I hope hes now building better performances and better contributions to the team.
Though walker and dier were under par today. I actually feel veeery neeevy with dier at cb especially in a 2. Right now i feel we would be better playing victor there and dier in cm or bring in winks.

I agree he's better rcb compared to cb in a back 4 but he still has too many mistakes in him playing in defence at this point in time
