Interesting. It seems like it's an easy enough deal to do if we're currently on 2 million euros away from their valuation.

I think the trick here is that if we want a player that can do a job on the wing and up front then it needs to be a striker who can occasionally play on the wing, as opposed to a winger that can occasionally play up top. We have more than enough of the latter.

I dont know anything much about Ben Yedder but his stats say he's been consistent and he looks quite quick so I'm open to signing him.

looks like most of his goals are from breakaways and crosses. Cant see how that fits the way we play of making room for shots on the edge of the box and breaking teams down. He doesn't look that big or strong either.

What's wrong with him playing as a wing forward?

Think harder working Defoe and with a couple of extra brain cells. But only a couple.

I'd be pretty disappointed. He's virtually begged Marseille to come and sign him anyway. Last week when he scored against them he even refused to celebrate (which I've never seen from a player before).

We need a striker not a wing forward. Can't see the need to sign someone else for the slots behind Kane?
We need players that have pace, technical ability and can score goals. That he's able to play up front or wide or in the #10 role is another tick.

Seems like every news outlet reporting on him..... Quite good foot work and set piece. Can operate off Kane and play false 9.

Looks pretty good and if he is a slightly better version of Defoe as suggested that's fine by me.

I think that's now 653 players who are just 'another Defoe' according to you.
