dragon1 on ftl: 'Dros and Fazio will go and that will pay for a new striker pretty much Think we are getting the ex scum striker from wolves'

Benik Afobe was out on loan from Arsenal (for whose first team he never played) for about 4 years with only one reasonably successful loan at MK Dons in 2014/15 (his last loan) where he scored 10 in 22 games before transferring permanently to Wolves for £2m where he's got 19 goals in 32 matches.

Interestingly has started to play no 10 role rather than as striker.

IMO very raw - good enough to spell Kane off the bench and fill in for some matches. But if Kane were out is he the man to play instead of Kane this season ?

I'd leave the answer to Poch, but seems a big risk to me, huge step up, so could he do it ?

This seems the most likely to me. Combination of things - young, right profile, today's ITK, the previous ITK that we bid last min on deadline day, the MK link, the versatility.

As said in the ITK thread earlier though, my concern would be his work rate. My Wolves fan mate said he looked much better last year with Dicko running the channels and Sako linking things up. But then, if most of the time his role is coming off the bench to help break down a disciplined West Brom type team, that might be ok.

He can finish though, very good at one on ones.

Never seen him play but he looks like a beast and seems to know where the goal is.

He's friends with Dele and they've played a lot together so would instantly link up well. Wolves paid £10M for him though so they would want a return on their investment.

no way do they have £10m to spend on a player....

You're right! I think I reading about Norwich preparing a £12M bid for him a couple of days ago caused the mix up.

Since that initial ITK, I've watched his YouTube compilation, quick, strong, definitely knows how to finish with authority. If he has an appetite for hard work and a pressing game, could be interesting.
Is he the Kane understudy, for the right fee I'd be tempted to find out if Berahino drags on again. Not sure he has Kane's ability to hold up and shield the ball, but the stories he's been playing a bit more of a No10 role at least show has more than just a finisher.
