Sorry to see him go. I thought he played well in the limited games he played for us and would have liked him to have had more opportunities. Good luck at PSG.

I think perhaps he was just a victim of association with the actual troublemakers.
Don't think so as the troublemakers seemed legitimately frozen out. Stambouli still made game squads and saw some limited action.

I know this will seem like making excuses, but he needs players around him that are on a similar wavelength. For me it's a bad fit, like putting Pirlo in Sam Allardyce's Bolton. He'll spend all his time doing the things he's not so great at and very little doing the things he is. At PSG, in there 433 I think he could actually have more conducive conditions and they would have got a player less industrious than Stambouli but with more viable talent for their circumstances.

This isn't me saying capoue is good enough to play regularly for PSG, it's just me saying I think they would have got more squad benefit from him than they will from Stambouli.
I disagree, I think Pirlo would benefit at fat sams bolton, fat sam would probably get the whole team to defend bar pirlo and then he can tell pirlo to just keep on pinging long balls to Kevin Davies. One of the biggest long ball teams in the premier league would surely benefit from one of the best passers in football

That's what Allardyce did anyway and he didn't need Pirlo to do it. That's just a waste of passing ability and vision.

Just a preseason friendly etc, but he's currently playing brilliantly for them against Chelsea. Strange one.

Oh well never mind. We had too many frogs in our squad anyway. Nation of legends.
