Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino has confirmed that Nabil Bentaleb won’t be in his plans for the forthcoming Premier League season.

Same for Alex Pritchard and Federico Fazio.

Don't know if that refers to his plans for the Champions Cup or in general.........

Ouch.

Poch just tells it like it is, harsh but guess no point sugar coating it

I dont think he said that so bluntly in that manner. Im sure the media exaggerated it.

That said, its sad that he doeant see Nabil having a future. There must be something else we dont know about Nabil because talent-wise he is up there among the best apart from those few sillly goal-conceding moments. Shame.

Bit of a shame this, I think he has a pretty high ceiling in terms of ability, I suspect that attitude is the bigger problem.

Seems strange that he went from Poch regular in his first season to a missing person the following year, injuries not withstanding.

disappointing but an example of his ruthlessness. Hopefully big sam can do the same for england.

Not that I know much about him, but not surprised that Pritchard struggled to raise his level enough to impress Poch. Showboating at Brentford is one thing...

Did he say that? Wow Poch not usually that blunt with the press. Shame - I always rated Nabil. Captain type guy.

I've never seen Bentaleb as a future captain. Always seems like a bit of a 'rude boy'. I would see Mason as a captain ahead of Bentaleb. He has great potential though as does Pritchard. It's not just about the potential of course so must be something about not doing the job asked of them.

Yes he did, I saw it on sky sports new.

Basically he mentioned; he have told three of them they are not in my plans, they are aware of it. As for Clinton, he mentioned he is very much in his plans.

There's a bit of the Fergie about Poch when it comes to certain players. If he doesn't like them, they're out, end of. I'm sure there's some method to the madness though!

Then that is as blunt as it gets. Can backfire with that kind of attitude, especially when results start going south

I agree about Mason. But I think Nabil has a Roy Keane about him. If you see those quick fire questions the club posted on FB all the players rated him the hardest working player. Doesn't sound like he has an attitude problem. There must be something we don't know. Shame though. Always thought he would make it big. Hopefully this story was something of Pochs English lost in translation

Whilst it's a shame that home grown players Pritchard and Bentaleb look to be leaving the club, without us fans having seen the best of them, it will allow Winks and Onomah more first team opportunities.

It would seem, the club/Poch see Winks and Onomah as better prospects than Pritchard and Bentaleb as they play in the same positions.
