So according to the BBC, this is what Berbs said to Jol after the game last night.

I'm interested to hear anyone's take on this, but especially ivo & Berbati, as they both seem to have follwed Berbs for much, if not all his career.

If true, it's very worrying, and implies that despite the dummy spitting on Monday and the supposed bust up on Tuesday, Berbs still wanted to work under Jol.

Oh well. We were all emotional, Berbs can go if he wants. He knew Jol wanted him for years, so you can understand. Depends who comes in and if Berbs is willing to work. If not then at least we will make a profit.

This scenario was perhaps the single most important reason for keeping Jol.

I knew this would happen. FUCKING KEMSLEY! YOU ****!

IMO the only reason for signing Bent was that we knew Berbs would be off in January at the latest, and that we would recoup our money in spades. Sad, but true.

I don't think Jol's departure will make any difference. Berbatov will be off anyway if we finish in mid-table or below. And rightly so: he made his show of loyalty and firmly kept Man U out of the frame last Summer, but it was based on being at a club that was challenging for the top.

If we're going backwards instead, he'll be well within his rights to look elsewhere. He has a career to run and he's not 18 anymore.

Seriously, sorry but if this story is true then Berby can piss off, why would you want players like that in your side anyway, there's 11 players in the team not just him. Fine sell Berby for £25 million to United or Milan and let Ramos bring in some hard working players that will help this club climb back up the table.

I'm Glad it's Ramos thats coming in, at least now we can get rid of some of these pre madonna's and to be honest average players, by that I mean, Zokora, Jenas, Rocha, Gardner, Ekotto, Tainio, Huddlestone etc, basically the whole midfield needs changing. Hay Ramos might even buy a left footed left midfielder at last.

I don't believe this. Berbs wants success - that is all. We all want that, and Levy has taken a brave decision to let Jol/Hughton/Segers leave. Now we will have a new management in place soon.

Huddlestone? our best midfielder this season who is still only 20?

I disagree massively, although he does need a workhorse next to him imo, someone in the Cahill mould.

Berby will be off anyway - if not in the winter window, certainly at the end of the season when a new club will be stocking up for a new Champs League campaign. We wil be offloading many current players if we don't hit Europe somehow - it's a sad fact of life.

yeah IF this is true it sounds like an obvious "here's my way out" play.

seems a bit too obvious and classless for the classy Bulgarian though?

Ps. Did you see King and Keane walking into the Lane for showdown talks, keane walking in like charley big potatoes.

just say to him well captain Keane you can tell YOUR team that they have contributed to your favourite manager being sacked, and the truth is Wande may take a look at you and say "not for my team"

i like some others expect, there will be an immediate upturn in the application of some players (trying to impress) and if the turn around in results is quick then some of these Jol supporting players will jump on the bandwagon quick smart.

As far as I'm concerned Keane is one of only two players who has earned the right to act like Charlie Big Potatoes this season.
