The Daily Mail website continues its baffling but increasingly successful bid to become the new Tribal Foootball.

And the Daily Mail have taken it from the Daily Star Sunday. Does not get more concrete than that, may as well have Nani printed on the back of my shirt now. Berba will not leave in January IMO.

I heard that Berbatov will be swapped for Derby's Giles Barnes. Barnes, in turn, will be swapped for Ruud Van Nistelrooy. Van Nistelrooy will be swapping names with Wesley Schneider (they will remain the same people, but will have to respond to different names). Van Nistelrooy will then be coated in a hard, enamel substance, and will be swapped for the statue of Gabriel Batistuta that they have in Florence. This will be melted down and the residue will be swapped for Nani.

Interesting but why would Nani come to Spurs 6 months after picking Utd over us?

The Mail are now sourcing their football news from the Daily Star. I honestly have no idea how any journalist can have so little pride in their work. No wonder nobody has put a name to it.

This is rubbish. Even The Daily Mail must have some concerns for its credibility if it allows its web edition to simply make things up.

Berbati- you can have an opinion on anything of course but an assertion of fact based on no evidence is not an opinion really is it? You don't work for the the Mail do you!?

llama, I have posted this a few times but you may have missed it. The Daily Mail site is NOT run by journalists. It's run by kids who spend their time surfing for stories. They then print them on their site without checking any sources.

A couple of months ago that actually printed a fan blog and claimed it was written by Daniel Levy, just because the blog had a picture of him. They were forced to retract it and apologise.

This was told to me by a proper old-school journo who works for the printed version of the Daily Mail.

Yep. Incredible. Daily Mirror is another. They seem to follow a 3 step process:

1. Print jouno research and inside tips (zero column inches)
2. Copy papers and websites
3. Make it up

I've said it before, I think Berba will be playing for us next season. Hopefully with a cup winners medal in his pocket.

There's loads of transfer stuff on newsnow this morning - we've been linked with:

- Alan Hutton (6 million) - we're front runners apparently! Chimbonda will then go to Chelski finnaly even though they have Belleti blah blah, etc...

- Adam Johnson (5.5 million)

- Elvis (? million)

- Nicky Shorey (6 million) or that fails Wayne Bridge (who I would prefer anyway but seems to enjoy the pay at Chelski too much!)

Although I may be making one of those up!

I look forward to the January transfer window almost as much as I look forward to Santa emptying his full and heavy sack all over my living room floor when he comes down the chimney on Christmas Eve.

January would be such a shitty boring month if it wasn't for these fun and games to liven us up.

If Berba was to leave for United, i want Nani, Carrick, Saha & Brown...

I still wouldn't be completely happy with that either!

Nani? Not even good enough to play against Liverpool at the weekend?

Fucking tripe.

I move for a vote to stop Daily Mail stories being repeated on this website.

Who's wi' me?
