Kanoute's goalscoring history (a/c to Wiki):

1997–2000: Olympique Lyonnais 70 (20)
2000–2003: West Ham United 91 (31)
2003–2005: Tottenham Hotspur 64 (16)
2005– Sevilla FC 105 (54)

So, for Spurs, he's a 1 in 4 man. For Sevilla, a 1 in 2.

I'm hoping Senor Juande Ramos had a lot to do with that. And that our new coach will get our players performing near their best - week in, week out.

point, but we must remember that a lot of his appearances where from the bench so these figures are largely inaccurate

I'm sure there's an element of that. However, I suspect Kanoute also has a very high assist rate @ Sevilla - higher than at Spurs.

My fundamental point, as per my first post above, is that Fredi was nothing if not frustrating in a Spurs shirt. Occasional brilliance, but a lot of rubbish and "is Fredi really playing today?"-type games.

This was partly because neither Pleat nor Jol could get inside his head and motivate him. Ramos succeeded. So let's give Juande a chance to do the same with Berba because good as Fredi is, Dimitar is better.

maybe he will be sent out on loan with Kaboul to get his confidence back :bang::bang:
and he is even being mentioned with Kanoute:bs:

the lad is pure class and if he does go it will be a very big loss to us and for the season ahead

and if anyone thinks he should go :shake:

Agree fully with yanno.

And more importantly, Berbs has done just fine. He's set up stacks of goals and been hideously unlucky. The rueful grin as he hit the post on Sunday showed that. Within 2 minutes Brum were back level. Says everything about his (and our) luck.

Up front is so far from the problem its pathetic to take digs at any of our strikers. Keane would have scored 2/3 goals max if it weren't for Berbs direct and indirect contributions.
