I tend to agree with the choices but still have a hankering for the iconic double winning shirt design :

Style and class combined....(the shirts were nice too).

Have the mods not figured out that you are @Hoops yet?! Slacking.

I have absolutely no idea who you are talking about my friend....but I'm intrigued now about this 'Hoops' character....tell me more.

Bacsically has a penchant for posting a lot of random threads. Also last seen on Sunday which happens to be the exact day you appeared :pompous:

Let me assure you that I am not him nor the cause of his disappearance....is the posting of a lot of random threads something you do not approve of ? Does it not invite discussion and an expression of views and opinion?....the whole idea of a forum.

Why the pompous smiley ??

I think this one is worse than the yellow one

Not for me. It's easier to pick out some of the older ones because of the 'bin bag' fit a lot of them had. I'd see no problem with that shirt had it had a decent fit. The one with yellow in however, is horrible no matter which way you look at it. There's only one reason why I like it and I'm sure it's the same reason as a lot of other Spurs fans.

Yes, it's the bin bag fit I am on about. Looks horrendous on the players! Just absolutely no style to it at all.

I saw it as more of an investigative smiley.

I have no preference on how people post but when you are sad enough to spend a fair amount of time here (which I am) you just notice certain poster styles which is what led to my comment, which was tongue in cheek.

Fair enough......I have been off work this week which accounts for my high activity level...back tomorrow so you'll probably see a change. Cheers...

There's nothing wrong with pony kit you posted above. The one before that was particularly poor quality and ropey. The fabric always pulled and the badge peeled off easily.

For me the kits tend to be related to how well we are doing on the pitch. I will always hold favour for the 91 fa cup winning shirt which was one of my first spurs kits as a kid. I remember going to shop and buying the shirt, shorts and socks with my dad.

Similarly the Kappa kit under Jol when we pushed Arsenal so close before lasagne gate. The Kappa the season after that was all white with just the thomson logo badge etc was a nice one but the fat boys never liked the fit.

Recent times I liked the UA kit from Siggy's last year with us. Nice logo, good fit and Im not a fan of the roll over collar.

If you are talking all time kits the 86 away kit stands out for me.

Adidas and Holsten for me.

That piss stain kit was the first home shirt I didn't buy in about 15 years. Too much yellow for a home kit.
