Betfair £25 free refundable bet

My friend told me today that if I put in a code, which he gave me, upon signing up that if I placed a bet of £25 and it lost, I would receive the £25 back.

Has anyone else done this before? If so, should I get any confirmation that I have correctly entered the code/will get the refundable bet?

I just did this myself, then phoned them up to make sure it was legit and everything, lady said if the £25 bet loses, it gets refunded within 48 hours.

Yes £25 went on Chelski, so if they win tonight the beers will be free...

Hope they lose though...
