Yesterday seeing as the Fulham tickets (home) for boxing day went on general sale I went to go and buy the tickets from the ticket office.

This is a Catergory C match and there was two under-16s going, altogether 3 tickets. Usually the most I've had to pay is about £80 but this time was alot different.

The person behind the counter said there was no junior tickets availible for this match and told me all the rubbish blocks that there were seats in. Finally I chose Block 16 Row 1 (West Stand) where they were the best availible. Then the woman behind the counter casually goes "£117 please" as if we're all made of money :bang:

Now I love my club but I have the feeling I just got ripped off :violin:

Well if you wait til general sale you can't complain about having to get tickets in the West Stand which is more expensive. Should have tried to sit in the North or South Stands.

Exactly. What did you expect after waiting for them to go on general sale? If you were a member, you could have got tickets online first thing on the Monday morning like I did and sit wherever you wanted to. I got four tickets in South Lower for £114. :)

Don't listen to the tag team mate, I agree, ripped off.
I'd have to wait for general sale tickets as well, but just cannot be arsed with having to fork out a load of money at the moment, so I won't get up this year.

Not paying for membership just yet either, I'll wait for my season ticket probably in a few years time.... (wish I got the one offered last year now!!!)

What's the problem exactly? That they sold out of junior seats before you got there? I really don't know what your expecting them to do

Make more junior seats available?

I believe that children are our future
Teach them well and let them lead the way
Show them all the beauty they possess inside (The Lane)
Give them a sense of pride to make it easier
Let the children's laughter remind us how we used to be (especially when Zokora falls over :) )

ye thats a rip off but you cant do anything about it...the demand is too high for tickets so they charge what they like...you'll hav to live with it till the new stadium.

Why not just make every seat avalible as a child ticket as well

I know the club will have worked out how much they make with so many adult tickets and childrens tickets, but why should a child find it more difficult to get to games because there is even less tickets for him to get (at the correct price) than the adults.

To be on the waiting list, do you not have to be a member? or they just ripping me off?

Or you got a ST holding Grampa who's due to die in the next few years?

That is disgusting...

What she should have done is said "I'm very sorry to tell you this, sir, but the total cost of your tickets is rather expensive. If you would like to take a seat my collegue will get you a cup of tea and I will get you a blanket and a bucket." Also I don't think it would have killed the bitch to have some soothing music playing in the background when she dropped that BOMBSHELL!!

As i understand it a Bronze member is on the waiting list for season ticket. A Lillywhite member is just a member no waiting list.

Glad i got my ST before the MJ era now

I agree. If a child buy the seat sell it at a child rate & if an adult buys it sell it at adult rate. its not hard.

They limit the number of Junior seats so they can sell more for the higher price. I understand its a business & they wanna make money but really !!

As I somewhat jokingly said, children are our future, get them in now and they’ll be piling money into the club for years to come. Let them go elsewhere and lose the future profit. That too is obvious business sense.
