I think everyone knows Hudd needs to lose a good bit of weight and to get more mobile. He will not be left alone to do it but the club will work out a plan of action and a fitness regime for him. It will then be up to him if he can get to where the coaches expect him to be in the future. He will be giving time to show just how dedicated he is to his career. If he becomes the player they need he will stay, but if they do not really think he is going to make it , he will be moved on. Hudd has loads of ability, the ball is well and truly in his court. I personally hope he makes the grade, but deep down I have to admit he really does not seem to have what it takes to be a top premiership player. Only time will tell. For a short while, thats what he has a bit of time. He is still pretty young.

See, but do they? He's not fat. He's not out of shape. He's just a big person.

But it's good to assume we all have exactly the same size skeletons and that anything else must be just fat or muscle on top of it.

Sorry Stoof, but he looks overweight to me, but so does Robbo. Perhaps its just my old eyes. I do agree with what you say about the fact we are not all the same size. Hudd is obviously a very big lad. It may not be a weight thing as you say. It's really about his ability to get around the pitch, that old mobility cliche' again. I don't know if too many people on here remember Jan Molby for Liverpool many many years ago. He also could not move around as freely as some others but he was very good for The Pool in those days. Can the Hudd become that sort of player? The game has certainly become a lot faster since those far of days. As I said Hudd is young and time will tell.:)

Hudd may not be overweight as such but he certainly can become more mobile. He can also move the ball quicker and give the appearance of being more mobile.

There is no question that regardless of his body shape, which isn't that big, he can improve his leg speed and his general level of fitness.

I am as big as the hudd and when I was his age I could run the hundred meters in under 12 seconds and was one of the quickest runners in my borough for my age group.

He, like many talented players, has relied very much on his natural ability on the ball and has neglected other areas of his game but it can be worked on if he wants to. If he doesn't he can say goodbye to top flight football.

No they weren't, if you'd read the Stadium thread you'd have realised they were going by email for the simple reason that we wanted to protect the construction firm employee who originally sent them.

He took a risk emailing them to his friend, his friend took a risk emailing them to us and we needed to respect that. Fingers crossed no harm will come of it, but honestly did you think you were the only person capable of converting a PDF format??

We have heard of people admiring his talents for 18months, there's no doubt he has it. However it can be denied that that he could do with some pace, to prevent the Fabregas element once again.

Having said that he HAS lost weight, and sped up in my opinion. He's NEVER going to lose two stone. He's not exactly fat is he? He has a huge frame and that wont change with diet or excercise.

People get sacked for breaking client confidentiality. Companies lose deals for breaking confidentiality.

 all you like - we're lucky to get information, don't be a prat about it.

Mate, there's an old adage, "when you're in a hole stop digging."

Fair enough, I'm sure it was an honest mistake and you wouldn't want to get anyone in trouble, but don't make it worse by pretending it's different to how it is.

The bigger man would hold his hands up and say he was sorry, at the least he'd keep shtum and keep his head down for a bit.

The little man tries to pretend he didn't do it, wasn't me, wasn't like that, it was his fault gov...

Junglist Massive. Wicked. Wicked. Incredible.

Exactly, sloth. And to not drag this site into any difficulties with the club.

[by the way the first line was a reference to General Levy ... Jungle at it's best ]

now THAT is the most rediculous thing i have ever read on here. Better than anything done by Andy C, HYpe, Krust, ronnie size, dj die, Dj SS, Shy fx, Dillinja, smokey joe, Pascal, Optical, and countless others?

i think not:grin:

From drumana on FTL:
good mate of mine is friends with lee barnard, and apparently huddlestone has been told to lose 2 stone as ramos sees him more of a centre half. hudd said he has never been that slim in his life and is gonna struggle to lost it. also hes been singled out for some reason the most at moment and looks like he could be on his way to blackburn come january.

From lennon4 england on COYS:-
Was at the spurs team hotel and from talkin to people at spurs, i was told ramos thinks that he is the most talented and techniquely gifted player at the club and as soon as he gets fitter and more moble (if he does) he will be straight back in the team

:shrug::shrug:

Maybe they are both sort of true...ish.

Huddlestone is gifted on the ball when he has the time. He would be a lot better if his fitness levels were higher.

Maybe a case of Ramos wanting him to stay and trying to get the best out of him with a bit of tough love :)

Maybe Juande told him to take up aerobics and he thought he would get an extra training session in. Very dedicated!

looks like you were 'served' stoof..if thats the right word? I have to admit i have not heard of a single one of those 'artists' though...

Thudd is a big lad - only thing for him is to get as fit as possible and work on short sharp turns to help with mobility - once he is as fit as poss then we will judge him...talented footballer though...
