I doubt that any player is going to be selected for the first team based on their weight. If what it takes for Hudd to get back in the team is for him to become more mobile then he will need to do what it takes to become more mobile. Possibly that means losing weight, but maybe it just means doing more running in training. Maybe it's impossible for him and maybe he just thinks it's impossible and is downhearted.

Maybe Ramos is just screwing around with his head for fun. Perhaps he told Lennon he needed to be 3 inches taller and that Lee had to become naturally left footed too. :)

I just bloody love the Hudd. It's such a pleasure watching a master passer at work, just as much as watching a dribbler do his thing. My favourite play of last season was a cross field ball he played in our half to YPLee with incredible pace which just landed in his stride. No Goal at the end of it, just a moment of perfection. Beckham used to do that and you knew he meant every inch of deviation and length and you just gasped in awe.

He's got a fair way to go but I'd hate to see us lose him to Blackburn for the sake of a few pounds of muscle he'll eventually lose if he sticks to the program. I'd like to see him loaned out to an Italian team who play a nice steady build up which wouldn't show up his sluggish pace and it would be the best school he could go to for sorting out his positional game. I honestly believe that if he gets that right it won't matter that he's always going to struggle for pace and mobility.

I like the fact that when he joined Arnesen sent him home with a back of videos of Beckenbauer as this is how I see him developing - seemlessly moving between the defence and midfield, organising and devastating with his passing.

Would a European coach even know what 2 stone is?

No. Mind telling a Norwegian how much 2 stone is?

About time you lot started using kilograms and driving on the RIGHT side of the road.

[If I had added 'Commercial' I would have got away with it.]

It was my "golden age" between 1993 and 1996, so i get a bit arsey and precious about a most glorious time for british/london music.

The latter rumor.
Ramos is not an idiot, he would never set a weight number...The Hudd is very very highly rated, so don't get too concerned...same with Taraabt. Rather than shove these kids in and push them through more than they can handle right now, they're being 'better prepared' for future first team duties. The Hudd in particular will be a feature of squads for seasons to come...I think we'll see The Hudd come back as a far more 'mobile' player, probably a bit slimmed down but still a big lad because he is a big lad.

now THAT is the most rediculous thing i have ever read on here. Better than anything done by Andy C, HYpe, Krust, ronnie size, dj die, Dj SS, Shy fx, Dillinja, smokey joe, Pascal, Optical, and countless others?

i think not:grin:

ha ha, wicked...dillinja is a monster, goldie still hits the heights sometimes (especially under his rufige guise) and then there's some right old bouncy bastards like DJ Hazard and Prolix...if The Hudd was a d'n'b track, he would surely be that Doc Scott classic "Shadow Boxing" but perhaps under Juande's new fitness regime, he will become more like Dillinja's "Thugged Out Bitch" with it's nimble, quick-stepping beat being replicated by a newly-twinkle-toed Hudd tricking and twisting around mere mortals as he threads passes for Berbs, Benty, JJ, JD, Keano...

Christ, I've gone mental!
COAT!!!!!!!

Stupid, maybe, but a sign of respect nonetheless.

You seem to miss the point. We have a good relationship with the club which we want to observe. If the club happens to survey the forums as we've been told they do and they come across visual posts of their plans then that is obviously going to hurt our relationship.

You're wrong here mate - we were first and foremost protecting the site, and its continued existence. And that is what an annoying poster would determine the "End of."
